I use this on my bench in the workshop, it appears robust enough. It pushes down in after releasing a small red button, and provides a very neat aluminum circle nearly flush with your top, push the circle down, and it rises slightly to allow you to fully pull it up .... fantastic ..an good value too

Usually give Brennenstuhl 5 stars, but I had to return the first one I received, as it was faulty. Replacement was in full working order. I like the fact that when lowered, it is seated perfectly flush to the counter top.

The multi-tap itself is good, although the collar that is slides up and down in just disintegrated as I installed it. No strength to it whatsoever so is only a matter of time before it breaks. Should rally be made out of a metal.

Value for money but, the plastic look can be off-putting.

Nice looking product, very functional.BUT the plastic collar that mounts into the counter is very thin and weak. I was very careful not to overtighten the nut.The collar cracked after two weeks of infrequent use. You will have to be extremely gentle with this socket if you want to to last....
