Pyrex Bakeware 9-1/2-Inch Scalloped Pie Plate, Clear

It's a pie plate. U make pies in it. I did and became so emotional I cried.

I broke my previous Pyrex glass pie pan, that I had had for decades, and went to several stores looking for a replacement. All were a little small, even the Pyrex pans that are commonly carried. This one is 9.5" diameter at the top, 8" at the bottom. The others are 9" or a little less at the top - it makes a big difference. I also prefer the crimped edge sloping up with the pie. The other Pyrex pans have the crimped edge sticking horizontally out of the pan - odd looking, to me.

I ordered this and had it replaced, but both times the item was not as pictured. The one in the photo has handles, the ones I received didn’t. I’m still giving it 3 starts because it looks like a good product. Just know you don’t get what you see in the photo. I wanted the handles. So personally I’m returning this for good.

I specifically purchased this for an apple pie and it did not disappoint me at all. You can see when the bottom & sides of your crust have browned. Nothing stuck to the pie plate so clean-up was a breeze.This would be great for any pie but I especially like it for fruit pies. It's plenty big enough for lots of filling.I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a new pie plate.

Searched for a pie pan with handles and paid more to get it. What arrived is not what was pictured and has no handles.The pan I received was available from other sellers at a much lower price. I would like the pan I paid for, not this less expensive substitution. Disappointed.
