Amazon Basics Effortless Heavy-Duty Stapler, 210 Sheets, Black

What can I say to any perspective buyer, well......it is big, very big, considerably larger that what I had expected a stapler to be, and especially for the price paid (great value), you get a lot of stapler for your money. This truly is the “Stud”, amongst staplers; forget anything you have seen in any high street shops, or supermarket.It measures around 14” in length and 10” in height, from base to the top of the stapler handle. It is the legendary John Curtis Holmes, of the stationery world (please see pictures). It is heavy, and seems well built.Instructions are basic, I initially had issues trying to get the staple carriage out, so that I could load the staples, it was only by chance that I pressed the orange button on the back of the handle (please see picture), for the carriage to slide out, this is not shown in the instructions.I am a casual user of the stapler, and usually staple no more than 25 sheets, on that rarest of occasions; the stapler is built for high volume paper (210 sheets), and I only staple between 2 and 14 sheets, using the larger staples supplied with the stapler, you get an “untidy finish” (please see pictures). I have had to use pliers to flatten the staples down, so beware, as they to stand up, and can cut, and be careful if you are posting, as they could damage the postal systems sorting machines (hefty repair bill).The good thing is, regular sized staples do work (please see pictures), I have tried them out, with no issues, and great finish, effortless!A quick summary; this is a great stapler, if you work in a small office, which deals with high volumes of paperwork, and do not have a dedicated lithographic/printing department, OR someone who likes, to go OTT with their stationery (as I do). I also own a large hole punch, so if size matters (it did to my ex wife), why not get it, you’ll stand out!!Pros: (i) Well made, should last a long time (hopefully).(ii) Can handle large volumes of paper (210 sheets)(iii) Interchangeable staples, so can use large or regular sized staples.Cons: (i) If stapling only a few pages, you will have to buy “regular sized staples(ii) Larger staplers are not readily available.(iii) May need a larger, strengthened desk(iv) You may find the “novelty wears off”, and you get a regular sized, hand-held stapler.

This thing is a BEAST! Very durable, effortless to use, and has an immense stapling capacity. Excellent value for money for less than a tenner!If you are doing board papers or prospectuses, then this is the Don of Staplers!Be aware, this thing is BIG and Heavy!

This is a beast of a stapler. Seems strong on the face of it but not sure about the spring cap at the back as it look a bit weak. However, it function as it should and would staple like a beast!

It keeps jamming and bends the staples instead of driving them through properly, even with just a few sheets. Ended up wasting a lot of staples trying to get one clean staple. Definitely not what I’d expect from an Amazon Basics product.

This really is a heavy duty stapler that works very well indeed. However it only comes with the largest staples the unit takes, it takes 3 sizes and absolutely no information on how to obtain further staples. An order code would be handyI asked RUFUS this question and the reply was : Rufus is generating a response...'The product information does not provide details on purchasing other sizes or replacement staples for the stapler.'

Big & solid. With the right staples has no problems with surprisingly thick stacks of paper.Recommended.

I purchased this stapler for my crafting. I make yearly calendars each year and need to staple the calendars together. This item does everything i wanted. So i totally recommend this item.

Entregado a tiempo. He evaluado la entrega como "no del todo bien", pero se debió a una confusión del repartidor. Si puedo, rectificare mi evaluación.En cuanto a la grapadora, modelo para 130 hojas, ha grapado 152 hojas sin despainarse y sin esfuerzo. Buena máquina.

*UPDATE* at this time Amazon is working out a return for this stapler so I may be able to get a refund after all. Thankyou Amazon its appreciated*I barely used this stapler when I got it (literally stapled 3 or 4 times stapling together about 40 pages) and then didnt use this stapler again until yesterday, and the 'Return Window' has closed!!? - So does this mean it has no warranty and no refund is available ?. When i tried to use it again, it has just stopped working. I have checked for blockages, lubricated any places that needed it looked and checked over it, but can find no reason why it doesnt work, but it just doesnt. Its a total waste of money at this rate of usage value per dollar spent. Very Disappointing.

100% calidad, mecanismos de primera, contiene las grapas que dicen de 130 hojas, le puse grapas de papeleria yaun asi funciona bien solo que agarra de dos grapas claro requiere grapas especudicas de alguna marca seria bueno que el provedor diga la marca con la que es 100% compatible para comprarlas marcan medidas pero algunas marcas hacen las grapas más delgadas y otras mas gruesas esta funciona con gruesaPor lo demas no duden es de lo mejor cero esfuerzos, recomendada para los.que les duele la.mano de tanto grapar o quienes compran a cada rato una engrapadoras con esta se olvidan de eso
