Pretty Witty Cakes Book of Sugarcraft Characters: Model Fondant Fairies, Animals, and Other Cute Creatures Paperback – January 1, 2015

The cutest most precious little animals. This book shows you from start to finish and it is so perfect for people like me where I excel in some areas of making things out of fondant but then other areas I am totally lost. This gives me the confidence to try new things and know that they will come out awesome.

I bought this book and couldn't be more pleased with it. I used it to help me make jungle animals for a 1st birthday cake and they turned out quite well. I even looked to see if Suzi Witt had written anymore tutorials but I couldn't find any.

Love this book! Great step by step instructions make it so easy to learn to make fondant characters. Definitely recommend.

The instructions and step by step pictures are wonderful. I'm new to modeling and I was able to make a little horse. The only problem I had was with the chart that showed the correct size of each piece at the back of the book. The conversions from centimeters to inches were rounded up on the horse I made. Once I figured that out, and I used the metric measurements, I was very happy with this book. It was a great book for a beginner.

Best Fondant book I have used yet! Love it, highly recommend it. :-)

Animals aren’t realistic

This has to be the most comprehensive modelling instruction book I have ever bought. I just love it, it is easy to follow, the illustrations are brilliant and they just make me want to get making the characters. This book would even be suitable for a novice as the instructions are so good, i have been doing cake decorating for about 6 years now and and have made many models but i just know i will improve with this book. It is also full of extremely useful tips, and she explains things in easy to understand terms. I just know this book is going to be well used by me. Suzie doesn't just stop at the instructions for the models, she also tells you how to make the little extras that are on the cakes. She has excelled with this book and I truly hope she will be publishing more in the future , I would certainly buy anything by her now. Buy this book now, you will not be disappointed.

What an absolutely fabulous book! Cannot praise it enough. Gives the most thorough and detailed explanation of every single stage of completing your model. Every step comes complete with a photograph, and templates further on in the book show you what size each body part should be. There is a huge selection of different models to choose from. I am a complete novice, so just loved the detail in it. I chose to do the lion today, which I'm afraid didn't do the book justice! I think it was more to do with my fondant drying out, and I should have used modelling paste. I can certainly look at the book and see where I went wrong. Need more practice now. I was quite relieved to get to the lion's mane, where my model went from resembling a bulldog to something definitely at least related to a lion! Fabulous book, and I have found it really inspiring.
