There’s not much to say about a UV filter, they mostly look the same, but this is a beautiful example, it’s thin and screws onto the lens cleanly and removes easily. It is threaded to allow pancaking with additional filters. The glass is the highest quality, tough and resists finger or water marks. It’s a little expensive, but with care is a once-off purchase. I have the same model on two other lenses, and High-end Hoya on another 6 or so lenses. I can’t see any real difference in picture quality.

I did a test with and without this filter. To my surprise some of my pictures actually appeared sharper with the filter on. I wasn't on a tripod, so perhaps this is not a true test, however I could see no discernible image degradation.The one thing I did notice, was that it changed the colours produced and in my view this is a negative. The image was slightly warmer with the filter on and perhaps a little more yellow. You wouldn't particularly notice unless you had the images side by side, but I may try and set up a profile to negate this change. I have knocked a star off for this, but otherwise I'm happy so far.It does feel like quality glass.

Although the product description was clearly for the magnetic filter the one sent - which seems to be of the same quality is really good and so couldn’t be bothered to send it back - just means I won’t be availing myself of the rest if the magnetic filters range.

Seems robust and well engineered. Being used for lens protection rather than any UV filtering effect.

Deberían enviar el producto en una caja. El contenedor metálico del filtro llegó con una abolladura. Filtro perfecto, manejo de envío o paquetería podría mejorar.
