I am so impressed with these pin wrist bands. For this great price, I was able to give two as gifts, and one for me. We all love them! Very well made, and very helpful for sewing projects.

I use the Magnetic Pin Holder Wrist Band unconventionally. One is pinned to my design wall, another is wrapped around the long arm quilting machine. Both for easier access as needed to hold pins and/or needle in those areas. They are time and energy savers.

I used for the first time during a fitting and with the model’s outer dress over her head while pinning the underdress she dropped her arm and bumped my wrist. Was still finding pins for 4 days. The wrist magnet itself was not that helpful at picking them up even. They do perform as expected, just not that well. Just put a few pins and don’t pile them up at all. With these you are sure to end up with more stray pins than normal.

It worked great for the first few(5-6) months then the silver part detached. It is pretty easy to reapply back on

The metal on one of the three wristbands was dented. I returned them.

I had been looking for a magnetic pin cushion for a while and had been put off by most of the reviews saying that they generally aren't strong enough to hold a lot of pins. I finally decided on these because a review mentioned they fit small wrists, which I have, really well. I was still worried about it being able to hold pins so I also got some neodymium magnets to stick on the pin cushion to beef it up as needed and I have been really happy with the results.I left the blue protective film on them for better needle vs pin visibility and it's been working well.The comment about being better for smaller wrists was spot on. They fit my 6 inch circumference wrists great but the ends are pretty stiff. I measured the circumference up my arm where they start to get pokey and I could see it being uncomfortable for someone who has a wrist circumference of more than maybe 9 inches.The magnets are pretty strong, they'll hold pins that are flat against them just fine. Where it struggles is the pin pile getting big and pins losing contact with the surface. Thats when you start shedding pins. The neodymium magnet solved that problem completely and I've been using the rest that came in the pack everywhere so I don't mind having the extra purchase.What I hadn't expected was how well they hold my thread snips. These things are great for hand sewing on the go. I don't always have a side table to put things on so having my snips on my wrist was a huge game changer for me. I use one specifically for snips and needle and now don't have to worry about where I may have set them. Combo that with the one with the extra magnet for pins and these things are brilliant.

The magnet is a very weak, thin bar that doesn't even cover 1/3rd of the area. The snap bracelets are nice, so luckily, it's very easy to take the plate off and put better magnets in.
