I used this on caliper frame mounting bolts that were on 17 years. Supposed to be 70 ft/lbs torque but with oxidation were much tighter. Came off with no effort

Don't bother. This thing is cheaply made. Mine has broken into two pieces. Just read the reviews. Don't be doped by the 5-star reviews.

How do you remove the large square plastic piece it is attached to?

Place a screwdriver, or flat tool, in the gap where the circular plastic piece meets the metal swivel head. Gently pry up and the entire tag will slide right off!
