Unreliable, don't last long.
I have had two of these and within a few weeks the screen has started to fail on both. The second one has not only got the screen problem but niw it thinks fully charged batteries are almost dead so won't work at all.I returned the first one to Amazon and I think I got the second at Home Depot so there's no chance if a refund there after a year.I won't buy another, that's for sure. No way to contact the manufacturer either.Very disappointed.Bobea

Works as it should
Bought this because I was going on a 10-day vacation in the middle of August and needed to keep my vegetable garden, flower beds & lawn watered, as well as to keep my inground pool's water level from dropping down too low, without having to bother a friend or neighbor. This was the perfect solution in our affordability range. The timers are very easy to set. Each of the 4 lines has its own settings: start time, how long to run, how many times per week. For the 3 lines going to my gardens, I set them for one hour/day in hourly secession beginning at 6am. This way each area got full water pressure. The 4th line was a hose to the pool which I set to run for 30mins. every 4 days. When I came home from vacation, everything was thriving and the pool water level was perfect. Thankfully it worked as well as I'd hoped for. Now, had it rained a lot while we away, my plants would've been over-watered and the pool overflowing, since there is no way to shut off the system remotely. That's where buying the more expensive one with an app is a better option. But I'm cheap, and therefore took my chances 🙃The only actual issues I've had with the system is:1) it is sometimes difficult to operate the "manual" mode.2) if the system gets too much water on it, the digital display goes all wonky and then you have to reset it by removing the batteries. This will happen often if your spigot leaks, like mine does. Make sure you use plumbing tape on the threads when connecting the system to your spigot.

Works as expected
This is a slightly different model than the one we got last year (same manufacturer). The other one lets you set watering on days of the week (we love this!). This one, does not have that feature. Instead, we must water every x days. This is OK, but not what we wanted to do. It is also sort of awkward to manually water--you must push a bunch of buttons then slight delay and watering starts. You must then remember to turn off the zone you watered before watering the next zone, or you'll be watering it again. A bunch of little things, and sort of obvious once you figure them out; but annoying. My husband is learning to love the manual timer, as he doesn't have to remember to turn it off (other one had this feature, but it also had external valves for the zones, so he used those instead of programming manual watering). I doubt he misses those midnight treks to the garden to make sure the water is off. Is it worth it? Yes, if you have a large area to water. Due to the minor annoyances, I just can't feel it worthy of a 5 star review (sorry).

Works
It has leaked since I started using it. I’ve use white tape, different connectors it still leaked…not drip but streams of water from ALL FOUR. thus year even worst. I’m finding my self turning the water on before the timer starts and immediately after because of the leaks. So, here I am back finding another timer.
