Play this game, don't read the reviews!
First off, if you are on the fence about the game, buy it and play it. I waited so long to play, because of all the negative reviews. The game is worth it, trust me.Now on for the review. The Positives: If you played First Templar, this game is way better. The collections of weapons you can pick up are awesome and the battle system is flawless. "Cursed mode" is an okay addition, I could have done without it, but the environment is visually awesome. The game is long, a lot longer than I anticipated. Couch Co-Op is also really fun. The upgrade system for your weapons is epic, and for your player is simple but not in a bad way.The Negatives: The game doesn't let you play as much as it should. There's A LOT of cut scenes, sometimes to the point where you're wondering "why can't i just play the game"? It will feel like you get into the board to fight 4 bad guys, and you're back in a 5 minute cut scene. Your weapons break, and break often. You have to do a lot of weapon swapping, so if you fall in love with one type of weapon, you better not get used to it, because after 5 kills you're picking up something else. All and all the game is good. No it's not a 5 Star Big Time Release Game, but that doesn't mean it's not good. For everyone comparing it to all those type of games, is just silly.

Not bad...
This game isn't the greatest, but it is worth playing co-op local. That's the main reason I bought it. My husband & I like to play co-op together, but it's not common finding local RPG games.- The graphics are pretty decent.- The game is pretty repetitive; pure hack & slash.- Wonderful history story line.- Local co-op.- Character customization when you beat a level.- Multiple weapon customization. This game is a pure hack & slash like I mentioned above. It is repetitive & the graphics could have been better. It seemed like Atlus made a quick game for some extra cash. I don't think this game is worth 20$+, but maybe 15$ at the most...

To many long cutscenes
This is a low budget game. You can see it when weapons dropped by enemies fall through the ground, and when certain thing go flying when you bump into them, but this game is still fun. This game is even better when playing cooperatively with another player. One major downside however, is the absurd amount of cutscenes. Without exaggerating, the cutscenes in this game could make a 2 1/2 hour movie easily. The cutscenes can be skipped, but skipping one often leads you to another that you have to skip. Overall a very fun game to pass time with a friend.

The Buddy Cop Crusade
I really think TCC was done a disservice in being compared to Assassin's Creed. It seems like a natural fit given the gameplay and setting, but in a lot of ways it almost has more in common with Army of Two or Borderlands. While of course it can be played alone, any amount of time spent doing so will make it painfully obvious the game was really intended to be experienced in co-op, preferably split-screen with you and your buddy sitting on the couch with a pizza and a case of beer between you.Even more than that, however, it's my contention the game is done far more justice and has a much greater potential to be enjoyed if you think of it instead as an '80s buddy cop movie which just happens to be set in the 13th century. The writing, especially the banter between Denz and Esteban, is absolutely terrible in all the best ways, and despite the events being covered and a weak attempt by the plot at some level of moral and philosophical commentary, there seems to always exist just below the surface a current of, "Wait, you're not actually taking any of this seriously, are you?"It might seem like a back-handed compliment, but enjoying TCC is really about managing your expectations. It's not a AAA blockbuster, and it's certainly not Assassin's Creed, but if you're willing to overlook some minor flaws and enjoy the game for what it is, you and whoever you get to play it with you are in for several hours of solid entertainment.

One of my favorites!
This is a great game, I love this game. I have been waiting for a game like this to come out. This game combines history and great graphics. The only thing I would change is that I wish it had more levels in the middle east. And the voice of death sounds fake. I wanted to fight in Jerusalem and the game doesn't end there. Other than that the entire game is top notch. It is definitely a great story line and they could make a sequel because of how it ends. I hope they come out with a part two!You can acquire many types of weapons and build your attributes. Anyone who is interested in military history would love this game. I am so happy I bought this game and very proud to own it. I'm also glad it is so affordably priced now. I hope they come out with more games like this.

Not worth your time
A terrible, terrible bug ridden mess. This game has a particularly annoying bug that prevents loading of the last 20% of the game. It seems to come up on about 1/4 of all users too. This was never patched and forced me to replay the whole game right from the start to complete it.This was not the only bug I encountered. Numerous freezes, glitches in loading enemies so they never spawn... and this is just the technical issues. As for actual quality, look up a review on a games website. The quality is something from an alpha build. It is incomplete in almost EVERY way. Terrible game.
