Purchase for our 66 Mustang. Had a couple of problems. The color was good when first opened but over the period of a month the color darkened in the can. We didn't paint everything at one time so we ended up with a very slight color miss match, not very noticible with white. Not sure if this is a typical problem with this type of paint. First time I have painted a car with urethane. Must have the mix ratio just right or you get runs or orange peel type surface, especially if ambient temp. is too cold or hot. If right, you get an excellent glass smooth finish. The other problem was some "fish eye". I almost have to say it came from the product as we changed and cleaned everything. Different air hoses, spray gun, water seperator, filters, prep solvents, everything! Even cleaned out the compressor. We were getting little white specks that resulted in the fish eye. Never resolved the problem but at times almost eliminated it. Not sure if I would buy again with out discussing problems with manufacturer.

I bought this product in 2012. I stored it for 9 months before I got a chance to paint. I sprayed a '98 Ford Contour SE that I was going to sell. The car is in Florida and outside all of the time.After a year I still don't have any cracks, bleed through, or any of the various failings in paint. The car shines beautifully with very minimal care (I wash it about 1 every 4-6 months and it's just about time to polish). This is the first time I ever sprayed a single stage and I would gladly do it again. I liked the paint so much I kept the car.

I purchased this kit from TPC Global. When it came in the packages was damaged and the paint can was dented so that once it was opened it couldnt be resealed so I didnt open it to inspect the color. When I did open the can to paint it was a creamy color kinda like beige. Called TCP and explained my plight, was told to e-mail a pic so they could see it. I was also told that it was white not a cream color. 3 days go by and they didnt get back to me. I called on the 3rd day and was told the color is indeed cream but I could send it back and the paint chips dont exactly relay the color the only way to tell was by spraying it. They couldnt give a answer to why it wasnt even close to a white. I also explained that I would have to get a metal pail because the original was damaged. Sent it back to them and UPS damaged it in shipping again and know they wont call me back! Poor color and poor customer service will not use TPC again

Odered this paint for a two-tone paint job on a 1956 Pontiac, the first few times I tried to apply it it was way too thick. Ended up having to use more than 10% reducer to get it to spray without orange peel and runs. Used another brand of paint for the other color in the paint scheme and it sprayed much easier without problems out of the same paint gun. Seems to be a durable paint but next time I would use the other E*stw**d brand paint, that one worked great right out of the can with no reducer.
