Q: How big are the balls? Are they a choking hazard?

Just under 2 inches (1 and 7/8ths). My kids were not so enamored with this set. Loved the SmartMax little trucks, about $24. Grandson played with from 6 months to 2.5 years. Had moving parts and 1 ball.

There is some room in the bin, enough for maybe 1-2 small sets. The bin is about 2/3rds full with the pieces that come in it.
