French's Original Crispy Fried Onions, 6 oz

I use this as I don’t like the smell of onion lingering around my homeThis is easy and healthy and goes with almost all recipesI just made black eye pea Indian styleSoak overnight, next day bring it to a boil, and remove the foam, in a separate pot heat olive oil to your need 1/4 cup less than that it's your choice, add chili powder 1/2 teaspoon, turmeric powder I teaspoon, a heaping teaspoon of coriander powder and 1/2 teaspoon of garam masala, ground ginger, ground garlic again garlic I put 8-9 cloves finely chopped add all to hot olive oil in your pot then put the french onions, you saved time since this onion are prefried.Put thinly sliced cilantro, stems mostly, use leaves for garnish(cilantro stems have more flavor )slice 3-4 large tomatoes thinly sliced add to the pot after you add cilantro, let it cook for 7-10 minutes on a very low fire, don't forget salt and pepper, add less you can always add lateradd the black eye pea till its cooked on medium fire, keep stirring every 10 minutes

Had a friend recommend these for pork chop coating and he was right; they can't be beat. I use half-n-half french fried onions (crushed pretty fine) and italian seasoned bread crumbs. Dip your pork chops in an egg wash, then in the mixture above. Fry for 3-4 minutes on each side until crispy, and finish by baking in the oven. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. If you have good quality pork chops you will be delighted with the outcome.

First food purchase from Amazon and I was not disappointed. These were fresh and the seal was not broken. Definitely a bigger container than I needed, but they last so I was okay with that.

Love these! I love to use them in salads but could totally eat the whole container as a yummy snack...I don't but if calories didn't count, I probably would!

French's onions are always good. I just wish it didn't cost so much on amazon so I could buy more, and more often.
