Q: I have been using cnd foil and they are twice the price. should these work as well?

They do work very well, but the CND ones are a bit better, (they stay tighter, are larger, and pad is a bit thicker)...but for me not enough to justify the cost...hope that helps

Q: Will this remove dipped nails? I think the dipping powder is acrylic.

I use these when removing dipped nails(not acrylic). Wrap the nails with these foils using pure acetone, apply heated mitts and let set for 10/15 minutes. Comes right off! Love these!
