I waited before reviewing, since reviews on newly purchased items can be less than helpful. 3 years in, it works flawlessly and allows us to travel and leave our cat behind without worries. The warning light when batteries start to weaken gives peace of mind. I couldn't recommend it more highly and would hate to be without it..

We have a window cat door that doesn’t close all the way each time he passes through. So I didn’t have high expectations buying another door. Tried this one and it’s perfect! We have it on the exit to the garage and it always closes correctly. It was easy to install. We were worried if the door was hollow, there would be a gap but our door was solid and it was obvious it would have covered any gap inside the door anyway. So glad we got this one.

Quick easy setup, I had other doors that didn't stop one of the cats from forcing her way in. This one has done the trick.

Great cat door. We have 4 cats, and they are all quite large, with the biggest being around 20 pounds. He fits through it no problem. They all figured it out within a couple of days, so now we can keep the basement door shut and they can use their litter boxes down there as they please. Works great, although I have locked them down there a couple times when we are going in and out of the front entrance frequently because they are indoor only cats, and I feel like if they push their faces against it hard enough when it's locked, they could potentially break the door flap, although that has not happened yet, fingers crossed. Installation was a bit of a pain in the butt, would be easier with 2 people, but instructions were clear and concise, and it looks great because my husband is quite handy. All in all, very happy with the quality and function of this cat door.
