I bought these for a Walmart mountain bike, (schwinn aluminum comp). I don't do hard core biking, but enjoy banging around with my 2 boys. The pedals that came on the bike were as expected and I wanted some that were a bit more robust with more grip... and didn't want to invest much in this bike. These seem to fit the bill perfectly. They came nicely packaged and are metal with metal "spikes". They installed without issue. I've seen some say that the pedals don't "spin", and indeed they do not, however this has not been an issue for me. They do rotate easily with your foot if you need to align them, but they don't spin freely as some might expect. I've had them on the bike for about 2 weeks or so, and am very happy with them. No binding, breaking, or anything negative so far. From my experience with these to date, and for what I need them for, I would definitely recommend the product and seller.The bike on the other hand: decent for the sub $200 price, but poor front shock/fork.

These replace the OEM pedals on my trail bike.Working great so far, with 200 miles on them!The grip is good and run true; they are well made, considering the cost!

A pleasant surprise at the smooth operation, and right tolerances. Good finish for an economy pedal. Threaded smoothly. Reliable safe option that's good looking.

They were cheap, sturdy, and easy to install. My kid likes them alot more than the plastic ones that were on his mountain bike.

seems they used too much grease or too high viscosity because these pedals don't turn easily. they push your feet up when rotating and you find yourself pushing on the edge of the pedal or find its moved under your foot 5 inches backwardsotherwise great. about freezing temperatures
