I was impressed with the chrome. I compare it to chrome plated to this and it reassembles almost hard to tell apart. I used it a lot on my plastic model kits

When building models kits the chrome parts that are removed from to the tree always have the plating missing from where it was connected,correct, and that is just part of it, true, well this is the simple fix that covers up the blemish in one step

The "mirror" effect doesn't work on paper. It still has a flawless shine on your artwork and coloring, though. I'm showing pictures of my coloring, both in plain view & under a lamp. 🙂 Even though it didn't do exactly what I wanted, I'm still happy with my purchase. These markers are very nice.

Finally, a silver marker that actually looks like chrome. They are easy to use and seem to last. The color is great and comes in 3 sizes.

When we bought our house it had a large bathroom mirror attached to the wall, and the chrome was flaking off, and underneath was all rusty, making them look messy. This was especially annoying as these were right in the eye line of anyone standing for periods in front of the toilet doing you know... that thing men do standing, that ladies sit for. I've got plenty of other DIY nightmares to address in this house, so I was looking for a quick and dirty solution to tidying this up. So I bought these, rubbed off as much of the loose flaking chrome and rust as I could and then liberally applied these markers. The end result, is not chrome as described, but still mind blowing. I mean to be clear there is still a bit of a reflective finish, you can still sort of see reflections in it, but it's not the mirror like finish you associate with chrome, it's more of a brushed effect. Seriously though if you looked at this, and didn't know it had just come out of a pen, you'd swear blind it was bare metal you were looking at, that's where the mind blowing bit comes from... metal... from a craft marker! What was especially great was I literally just rubbed off the loose stuff, there was still loads of rust etc on these brackets that would have needed proper sanding to remove, and I just painted straight over it no problems at all. You might think that literally just putting this stuff over rust, in a bathroom no less with varying temps and humidity's that this would be flaking after a month... except it's not, it still looks exactly like the first day I applied it. I mean that's performance I would have been expecting from Hammerite etc, not some cheap little craft markers. I've used plenty of metallic paints before, but this are the first that do do manage to have any sort of reflection, and actually could be confused for metal. The ease of use, and quality of the adhesion on a far less than ideal surface, really puts these a league above those glittery greys pretending to be metal.

dommage, le chrome ne tient pas même après 24h de séchage, dès qu'on pose le doigt dessus ça devient terne sinon super effet miroir, faut juste ne plus toucher l'objet
