I read the good and the bad reviews, as always, before purchasing, and I still chose these lights. Right out of the box I could tell they would be super bright. They really are plug and play. I have a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500, I took the clips off that hold the lights in and then disconnected the wire harness from the piece that holds the bulb in. From their all i had to do was twist and turn that piece out, pull the bulb out and plug on the wire for the LED lights. Twist that back into the new light boxes and clip them back on the truck, took maybe 10 minutes and no tools! I installed them without using the error free resistors that came with them and I haven't had an issue with a light on my dash, but I still kept them just incase. I will be covering up the plug that the resistor hooks into though, just to make sure I don't get moisture into it and cause a short or anything. Other than that, I see no reason not to give this a 5 star review. If anything changes in the future, I will update my review! ☆UPDATE 5/24☆ While using the brakes or turn signals, my LAMP OUT light would flash on for a split second and shut back off. I just installed the resistors and it is still doing it unless I have my running lights turned on. Will keep you updated!

These lights fit perfect. I installed the ballast or diode that cam with it and it hooked right up no issues 2 months down the line. These are super bright and white as indicated. These look great and compared to just swapping the bulbs ( I did that they would flicker or go out randomly) well worth the money.

Excellent, these lights fit in perfectly and they work great. They're super bright and were really easy to install. The built-in error protection is an added bonus so there's no issues with the circuit. I attached a photo of how I zip tied the error module.

I'm happy with the product. These things definitely make the plates easy enough to see. They light up the whole back of the truck. If you have rear facing exhaust, it's kinda cool to see the exhaust curling up through these super bright white plate lights. When driving on gravel roads-(for those of you that know, you know)-they shine enough to either side that, in my mirrors, I can see them light up the dust behind me. The same with fog. Can be slightly distracting...but it think its hilarious. It took me a bit of time to install. No tools required, but the clips that hold the lights in, I found to quite fiddly. But that's not a problem with the product. They feel a tad cheap, and the wires are very thin, but for 30 bucks, that's to be expected. As long as they last, I'm happy. I've only had em' for a week. What confused me were these two little guys that came in the box. No idea what they're for. Looks like they're supposed to plug into the lights somewhere, but the lights seem to work fine without them. To me, they look like they're little ballasts or something. But these are LED so idk. The instructions said nothing about them so I have no idea lol I attached a pic of it.
