is the lead in the pencils 3/H or 2/H

The "Castell 9000" set of 6 pencils has HB,B,2B,4B,6B and 8B. I chose the softer leads but they do sell sets of the harder leads. Hope this helps.

Do the pencils work with watercolor ?

No.....just for drawing...you want watercolor pencils
