Fotodiox Pro Collapsible Background Kit - 40x60in (3.3x4ft) Chromakey Green/Chromakey Blue 2-in-1 Background Panel with 2.1m Stand

This works great! I also bought the Lasolite 3355 stand and the CowboyStudio Photography/Video 3-light kit with umbrellas (check my other reviews.) For under $300, I have a quasi-professional green screen studio for our corporate videos.Adding a light kit is imperative to get the best green screen effect. Once I added the lights, the green screen dropped right out using iMovie. Easy to replace with another background and look like a professional video/photo. I've been using the green side; have not tried the blue side.Even without the light kit, I have very little light bleeding through the material. I have a huge window behind my desk and even with blinds open, very little light bleeds through.The added stand mentioned above puts the backdrop at just the right height for a seated subject, or you can also use vertically for a standing one.I later bought the Studio Hut 5 x 7 brown/grey background (also left review for that.) That one is great for headshot photos, video conferences, etc.As far as folding it, yes, the YouTube videos help. But it's really not hard once you get it the first time. I haven't seen anyone suggest this, but the logical way to do it is to put one (short) end against the base of a wall and that gives you leverage. There is no "kneeling on it" ever necessary.Do be careful when you open it. You have to be in a completely open space with nothing and noone around you. It sprongs out with quite a lot of force, as other reviewers have noted. Nothing to be scared of, but it does almost instantly go from a little circle to a 7 foot wide thing.It is very portable and light weight once it's folded into its circular nylon (flat) case. The case is like umbrella material, not very thick. I have tried to fit it in a suitcase to check on an airplane, and it will not fit even in my largest case. I suppose you could gamble on checking it through by itself, but it will not fit in a suitcase. I also tried my garment bag, also too narrow. Closed in its case, the circle is 28" in diameter. You could squeeze the edges in and possibly fit it in a 25"-26" wide garment bag.BTW, I highly recommend iMovie (only for Mac.) I was surprised by how easy it was to drop out the green background and replace with something else. Also to add company logo, banner across the bottom, etc. I also have Adobe Premiere Pro on PC and it's a lot more complicated.Caveat: I am not a pro photographer, so your opinion of how well the green screen keys out may vary. To me, it looks great.

The product is perfect except that it takes quite a bit of strength to fold it. The metal frame around it is quite rigid which is important, but it makes it more difficult to fold it up to place in the bag that comes with it. I would have given it five stars if it wasn't for how much strength it takes to fold it up.

I needed a portable backdrop solution that offered a small footprint and was easy to carry and setup by myself. Up until now, I have been using seamless paper or overpriced bed sheets...err, I mean muslins. Each has its positive points and negative points, but neither met all of my needs. Also, both required two support stands and a cross beam making it difficult or impossible to use in a small conference room or office.The Fotodiox Collapsible Backdrop Kit came in yesterday and I used it for the first time onsite today in an 8ft x 8ft meeting room. It was everything I wanted it to be and more. Hopefully you find this review helpful. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to write them at the end of this review.PROS:* Compact Stand - The 4 section background stand in this kit is along the same design as the Manfrotto Nano 5001B stands only thicker diameter poles. It measures 24.5" when closed and extends to 7+ feet.* Compact Background - The backdrop folds into a 24" diameter circle and opens up to 58" x79".* Wrinkle Free - The black stretchy nylon material border stretches the muslin enough to make it absolutely wrinkle free. I can leave the hand steamer at home. No worries about it. Also, the material on both the black side and white side is matte.* Easy Setup - I had this setup in about a minute all by myself.* Rugged - The hoop is 5/8" wide and 1/8" thick. It's strong and sturdy. I was concerned that it might warp causing it to hang with a curl, but it doesn't seem to do that. When opened, it is completely flat. When hung, it is completely straight.* Holder Clip - It's spring loaded and easy to use. It is attached securely to the top extension section, so you can loosen the section, rotate it to where you want it and tighten. Works great!CONS:* Shipping Cost - Kind of high in my opinion. If this was coming from B&H or Adorama, shipping would have been free.* Gray-ish White - The white side is white, but when looking at it, the black side seems to bleed through a little making it seem sort of like a light grey. This is OK, because once you pop a flash at it, it becomes a beautifully white high-key background.TIPS:* Sand Bags - Although I always recommend using sand bags, you really don't need it with this when shooting indoors. The three legs spread out flat on the floor and make it pretty sturdy. If anything, a 5 pound ankle weight at the base is all you need.

This works great for Zoom/google meetings. It is large enough to cover background of any room. A little difficult to re-fold to put into zippered bag, but was able to get it folded after a few attempts. Can be hung from stands with clips or lean it against a chair behind it. Easy to use and works great.

The background is big enough but whats not worth it is the stand, I purchased mine for my photobooth and didn't used it until May 23rd, exactly 30 days after the purchase so I couldn't return it and cant find anything to contact the seller for support. i posted a question on the product page about support and my question was deleted, I was very surprised because I met some of Fotodiox people at WPPI this year and they seems to be nice people.I dont have nothing at the top of the stand to attach the background, maybe mine came broken, I have to idea and nobody to speak to about it, I own few items from Fotodiox and never had any issue, maybe I need to be more careful buying form them next time.

High enough for a full slateAnd convenient.Wish I had light greyWould buy again

This is a nice enough product, especially if you want to use it "Tall" or portrait. But if you want to use it wide, or landscape there is not a side loop to hang it. I can't be the only one that ever needs to do that.

Love this! I've been looking at all the camera stores for this but I could never find it. It's compact and great for head shots and videos. The stand is surprising sturdy, but I still use an ankle weight as a precaution

I would have give it 5 stars if a sheet with instructions on how to fold it back had been included. It's easy once you know the trick, but akward to figure out by yourself. I found a youtube video showing how to fold the screen, but it would have been much better if the instructions were included.That said, the screen works fine and I got great results. It doesn't take a lot of space when folded and is quite easy to install.

Emballage cheap ne protégeant pas l'article. Trépied brisé. Je vais devoir commander un autre trépied car j'ai besoin du backdrop. Sinon c'est mon 2e et c'est un bon produit.
