Broken studs on exhaust manifold.

Fit my jeep - passenger side bolts sheared off somehow, installed one and another next week. holding up pretty good, no troubles with item.Ordered and installed another - same scenario - working great - no problems with this item times two.

They worked great for clamping my exhaust back together where the studs had broken off

This clamp was exactly the right solution to a broken exhaust bolt that wasn't about to be removed. The clamp was able to be tightened very snug and drew everything back together at 10% the cost of having a shop deal with the broken bolt and resulting exhaust leak.

Great product came with everything I needed to get the job done & showed up next day. Solid piece I'd use 1 again

This unit is well-designed, but is not well-known. O’Reilly’s keeps a variant of this tool in stock, while NAPA carries it only in their catalog. I was told at my local NAPA store that they had never seen one and no NAPA store in the USA stocks this item - special order only plus shipping. What a shame - this is one tool that save your bacon if, for example, you snap off a stud while trying to disconnect an exhaust manifold from the flange of a catalytic converter. When you do something like that, the alternatives are grim and this tool is a quick cure. However, my USA-made kit did not contain all of the different parts it was supposed to, and I had to get the similar chinese-made kit from a local O’Reilly’s, to be sure I had the right parts on hand when I replaced the exhaust manifold on my 2010 2.4L Equinox.

It worked great I had a broken stud on my exushust, I put this on tighten the bolt up and now that annoying exhaust leak is gone.... will be buying again in the future

I have used this item purchased locally for more money and they always have to be assembled and the threads are all mucked up. This item was pre assembled and threaded like a breeze (as it should be).
