***** update!I bought a second one for my second child and the frame was delivered to me broken. The plexiglass was cracked and the box wasn’t damaged. The plexiglass was broken because of the way they package the accessories and the plexiglass. They stack the roller on top of the plexiglass so it cracks the plexiglass very easily. I already put my daughters prints in the clay before I noticed the crack so I figured I would just order another and too bad for me I didn’t see the crack before starting. BUT. The replacement frame also came in cracked in the same place. Because of the roller being packaged in the same spot. Seems like a bad idea to me to package it this way. I reached out to the company and the only thing they were willing to do was refund me my money. They couldn’t send me a replacement piece of plexiglass. So now I am stuck with a frame that has no glass in it. Very frustrating.I am mostly happy with this hand/foot print picture frame. I am leaving this review to hopefully share my experience to help others out. It took my husband and I several tries to get our sons hand and foot print on there the way we liked. This is at no fault to the product. We were working with a 3 week old baby. They move. My suggestion there is to DO THIS WHILE YOUR BABY IS SLEEPING! that made it a little easier, but still tricky.What was somewhat helpful was that this clay is both easy and hard to work with. Easy because when you mess up you can patch, re-roll and start over. I liked that. Hard because when you take it out of the packaging it sticks to everything. Your hands, the rolling pin, everything. We followed the suggestion in the instructions and used a little olive oil. But instead of putting it on the clay (because it wasn’t dry) we put a little on our hands to keep it from sticking. But here is what really helped us and we honestly wouldn’t have been able to accomplish this project if we hadn’t tried this. We put a tad bit of olive oil on some wax paper. Then put the wax paper over the clay and then rolled the wooden rolling pin on the wax paper to roll it flat. The roller kept sticking to the clay and was making it impossible to flatten. This wax paper trick was a GAME CHANGER. If you purchase this use wax paper when rolling out the clay.Finally you must and I mean must press your child’s hand and/or foot into the clay hard! The clay kind of expands as it’s drying. Not a ton but enough that it makes it a little difficult to see details once dried. It’s a little bit of a bummer but not enough to tell you not to buy this.

Overall end result is pretty nice. However as with most baby things, unexpected set backs are more than annoying. Had baby ready, loaded the clay in the spot and went to flatten with the wooden rod provided. Well the rod got stuck in the clay and I lost a decent amount because it would t come clean off the rod. Also the blue and pink matting wasn’t cut to the correct size. Oh well. The clay was very easy to clean off the baby and that is most important of all.

We got this for our baby boy. Works well- the clay was dried out so I did the olive oil trick from the insert they give you and it worked well to moisten it up. The frame and the inserts are quality pieces. Hope this is still around when I have my next one.

This is a revised review from my earlier negative one. This is as described. If you are looking for a rustic frame this does not disappoint. It comes with easy to follow instructions. It is packages in a nice box with all items. Customer support will make any issues you have right!
