Q: Description for this product says to not use on genuine leather. Is that a typo?

Hey Paul,Not a typo. "Genuine leather" is a little bit of a misnomer, as it is a subtype of many different kinds of leather that are genuine animal hide. "Genuine leather" is what happens when the upper layers of leather - the top grain and the full grain - have been sanded down to create a softer, more delicate hide. In fact, this type of leather is used to make suede and nubuck. Unfortunately, "genuine leather's" delicate and porous qualities mean it will need different kinds of treatment than regular leather (suede care products are best), and as such, we don't recommend Healing Balm for genuine leather. Often times leather will be described as "genuine leather" without really explaining what that means, so we've found it helpful to our customers to let them know ahead of time.Hope this answers your question!

Q: Can these pads be machine washed AND dryed?

Hello Fernando,Thanks for messaging! These pads can indeed be machine washed and dried. They will probably last a bit longer if washed by hand, however. I like to clean mine under the sink with a bit of mild soap. Shouldn't take very long - just enough to spot them up. Let me know if you have any other questions! Cheers!

Q: Will this remove an ink pen mark from full grain leather?

No, nothing removes ink pen from leather completely. And, using other products to try and remove it usually makes them worse, unfortunately. The only option would be to dye the item black, place a decal over it or a decorative design that includes the mark, or ignore it!. Never carry an ink pen in any handbag that you value.
