I normally wear size medium tops (34B, 29” waist, broad shoulders) but sized up to large for this. The medium was very tight especially in the underarm area. The large was a much better fit, and tight the way I wanted without it being uncomfortable. Keep in mind I was looking for a compression fit to use for Brazilian Jiu jitsu (a form of wrestling) to reduce rug burn. If you prefer a semi loose to loose fit, you may want to go up 2 sizes.

Very nice rash guard. I like that the design is not an iron on type. The design is part of the fabric. I'm a size med and had to buy 2 sizes up to an xl. For a more snug fit I could have gone a size up to L. Very good quality and happy with my purchase.UPDATEive had this rash guard for almost a year and the material is acting weird. If i pull on the material it gets stretched out and doesn't go back to shape. The design is pretty but, the quality is cheap

Measured stretch is 200% width, 200% height. Recovers instantly to 90% instead of 100% so not complete recovery. After a minute it still is not fully recovered, maybe need to be washed to fully recover. Maybe its a good thing, if it is too tight in an area you can pull on it hard to permanently deform the fabric and gain some extra room.Fabric content 80% polyester, 20% spandex, feels slick and smooth. Thin and lightweight.Fit is good, slightly loose but snug like I wanted. I ordered a size larger than normal based on other reviews and glad I did.. For reference I am 40/36/39, 6’ tall and 187 pounds.Overall, I like the print but the fabric is so-so and not my favorite. I would NOT buy again.

I have been purchasing other rash guard from another company that came in super small, so I was worried about buying another online. I am 5'5" and 150 pounds. Athletic build. Hips are 38" waist 32". This fit perfectly for BJJ. It didn't move at all during rolling. Tight enough but still very comfortable with a little of wiggle room. Stretchy fabric.Fits my arms snuggly but comfortably. They are 11" around at the middle of the bicep. Probably wouldn't get medium if yours are bigger than that.

I love rash guards! A must have here in the Tucson sun... and for any pool activity. I usually buy Athleta in a large, which are a bit loose on me. 5'9", 140lbs, 36B/C chest, big shoulders. I bought these because they are colorful (I bought the purple, ordering the yellow next) and are spf50. The large was a surprise, tighter then I'm used to, but after getting used to the higher, tighter neck opening, I'm liking the fit very much- it doesn't float up like the looser fit. I wear a sports bra under, and even with a pale gray one there was no transfer of color. I expect these won't last too long, maybe a year? I'm in the water and out in the sun too much! But at this price, I'll buy a few new ones every year. And BTW, someone said it was cute enough to use for hiking... might just do that!

I bought the gator and the snake. Designs look great and nice fabric. Held up to machine washing and air dried. I have small shoulders and am not large - typically I wear a medium in girly t-shirts and small for tanks - but I didn’t want a tight fit and wanted ability to move well…so I ordered XL and it’s perfect. You must wear a bathing suit underneath (no liner). I have a bright multi-color halter top suit and you couldn’t see it through the purple snake top, even when wet (haven’t tried blue). Surprisingly comfy while swimming (ocean waves and pool) and laying out. Even on my 2.5 month old surgical slits that get irritated with other fabric.
