I absolutely love these curtains! If you're looking for a set of curtains you can hang right out of the package then look no further. These lovely, lush panels came out of the package wrinkle free. They have a satiny appearance and are very soft to the touch. The process of hanging them was entirely hassle free. I have not one complaint about these curtains.As to the room darkness and some of the complaints I've noticed in other reviews? I can comment but please take what I say with a grain of salt. I'm legally blind. I am totally blind in my right eye and have very limited, tunnel vision in my left eye. As you can imagine my eye interacts with light differently than it does with normal vision. However... having said that... when the panels are drawn and I walk into a room it is PITCH BLACK. After I first put up these curtains it startled me each time I walked into a room that was as dark as a cave. After some time I got used to the total lack of light. I will say that my boyfriend and his teenage son who both see quite well are very happy with how dark these curtains make the bedrooms. So you might consider their opinion instead.Here are some details about the curtains I purchased...1. Wrinkle free from package2. Very well made3. Very stylish and soft to the touch4. Drapes beautifully. (I keep the top of the panel drawn across the curtain rod and pull the panel back and hold it to one side of the window. It's a very lovely effect).5. Matching tiebacks included6. Note: The curtains are the same color on BOTH SIDES. There is NO white backing. Whatever color of curtain you order that is the color you will see from the outside when the curtain is drawn. This was not an important detail to me but it might be to other customers.7. Machine washable. (Since I recently received these curtains I have yet to wash them but I trust that they will launder just fine. I've yet to have any problems with any curtains I've purchased that have been machine washable. Just use common sense.)These are definitely 5 star curtains in my book. I loved them so much I bought three sets for three different rooms (in three different colors and sizes). Well worth the money which in my opinion was a steal at the price they sell for.

I originally purchased these curtains in the olive green color for our guest room. they do a fantastic job at darkening the room - truly blackout. Now that I am expecting a baby, we got these in the sky blue for the baby's room. I had to hem them to make them the correct length and they hemmed up fine (I washed first in my front-loader both because i always wash fabric items like clothes, sheets before use, and also to allow for any shrinkage - they washed and dried great). They also darken the room a lot. They do tend to snag a little, so I would be careful washing them in a top loader with an agitator, and take care if you're hemming or adding embelishments. I did not notice the snagging in the green but I suspect it's because I didn't have to hem those and therefore wasn't examining them as closely. Once they are up it will not be an issue.I cannot recommend these curtains highly enough. They are great for graveyard-shift workers, babies, or anyone who just likes to sleep in in the mornings. Also, unlike some curtains from another company that I purchased and returned, these do not off-gas at all. I wish we had put these curtains in the other kid's room as well. Plus, unlike shutters, you can fully open them and let the light and world inside!Just FYI the grommets are a dark copper/bronze color. Also, if you live in an HOA note that the exterior side of the curtains is the same color as the interrior side - it's not white (this is precisely why I don't live in an HOA, because I don't want someone telling me what color curtains to put up, but I digress...).The only other comment I have is that I wish these also came in pure white, as I have a room with pure white curtains that I would replace with these in a heartbeat if they were offered, even if they didn't "blackout" as well as the colored ones.

I purchased the pair of these curtains where each panel is described as 52"W x 72"L. My measurements determined they were 53"W x 72"L so the description here is very accurate. Unfortunately, I could not find any information here on the curtain coverage once installed on a rod, so I wanted to provide that in hopes it will be helpful to others.When the curtains are fully closed, and while mounted on a 1" diameter rod, each panel will cover 45" in width, or 85% of the width of the curtain when laid flat. This percentage increases when using a smaller diameter curtain rod. When fully opened, each panel occupies as little as 3" in width.When direct sunlight was shining on my curtains, almost no light was visible through the fabric from inside. I feel that the manufacturer's claim that they block 99.9% of the light is also accurate. These results might be different with lighter colored fabrics. Unless the edges of the curtains were taped to the wall, far more light will leak out the sides of the curtains than through the fabric.The instructions included suggest to put the curtains in a dryer, along with a damp washcloth, for a few minutes to remove any wrinkles that exist after unpacking the curtains. This trick worked perfectly for me. Some reviewers complained that the instructions didn't work, but no one mentioned the part about putting them in the dryer with a damp washcloth so I wonder if they skipped that step.I purchased these along with a "brushed bronze" Levolor curtain rod and the color is a good match with the grommets on the curtains, but not perfect.Overall, I'm totally satisfied with these curtains. They are very accurately described, good quality, and an excellent value.
