The NetMedia MODEYE-BN is a self contained B&W camera and modulator (CAModulator) that converts its video signal to a selectable television channel (UHF 14-69, CABLE 70-94, 100-125). It is powered over the same coax cable that returns the video broadcast signal for One Wire Video installation. It mounts in a round 2.7 inch diameter hole and is viewed with a standard television (SDTV) tuner. The modulated signal is not bound to a single monitor or TV; it can be combined with antenna, cable, or satellite signals for distribution to multiple TV's throughout the location. Equipment that does not have an SDTV tuner, such as a dedicated high definition (HDTV) device, security/plasma/lcd monitor, or DVR, will require a demodulator (VCR with "line out") to provide a composite video signal.
