Insightful Read
This book looks at the supply chains of GM and Toyota, with a business novel approach. The book was a quick read with some good insights and references. The book with help some with ToC and looking at lean. The book is about working with suppliers to make all successful. Toyota uses the Ecosystem approach and GM the Cost Margin plan. Toyota looking to improve the supplier experience and GM looking at cost margins through quality and pricing.Of course some looks to at the Japanese management style and some differences there.A good read about Theory of Constraints, some lean and JIT, and Supplier Relationship Management.A good, accessible read for anyone new or getting acquainted with the supply chain

Very poorly written
I would be embarrassed as the author or publisher. This book is full of editorial errors. Bad punctuation, missing periods, and the like abound. The story itself is poorly written. The author could have done himself a favor and offered a properly formatted, non-fiction analysis instead of a terrible novella.I could not take it seriously.
