NANUK915 Waterproof Hard Case with Foam Insert - Red (915-1009)

I've been carrying a torn up backpack with several hundred's worth of drum mics to shows and recently almost lost a couple because of the holes in the bag (fortunately a bandmate saw them falling out). So I went on the hunt for a quality case to carry all of my mics and other gig-required items. I looked at Pelican, but I landed on Nanuk and after some reading and ultimately landed on the 915. For the price, it's exactly what I needed and allows for me to add more mics if I wanted/needed. The cubed foam allowed me to form secure spots for each mic ,my monitor amp and my accessories and still leaves room for new mics or the D112, if I choose to unmount it from my kick. The latches are secure and the case feels rugged enough to withstand anything I might throw at it when loading/unloading for shows. Highly recommend

Very nice box I own the 910 and the 915 will be buying more in the future great selection of sizes with and without foam and also nice selection of colorsUpdate two days after owning the box the latch had broke was very surprised unfortunately I am not able to use it which is very disappointing I tried to get in contact to see if I could get a replacement and if they wanted to send this one back I was not able to talk to anyone very sad and disappointing now stuck with a nice broken box 😡 update still haven't gotten a call email or message or anything about returning or replacing my box that is broken it's just a clip please help third and final update still haven't got in touch with anyone boxes useless due to latch not working properly so out about 60 bucks would give minus five stars if could however purchased other boxes from them and not had a problem

First I bought one of these (with the cubed foam inserts) for my telephoto lens and accessories. I liked it so much that I bought a second one for my camera and main lens instead of the soft sided camera bag I had.If you have one or two largish items to put in the case, the cubed foam insert option is a good choice. If you have several smaller pieces then the Velcro divider insert is the better option because you need to leave reasonable space between the cutouts in the cubed foam case, so you can get more smaller items in the Velcro divider version. Pay attention to the inside case dimensions before ordering.By the way, opening the case is not completely obvious the very first time you open the case. You squeeze the little finger cutouts together on the latches (with the arrows) which releases the catch latch. Then you open the case latches like most case lathes work. It’s not difficult, but look carefully at what you are doing if you think the latches are “stuck”. They aren’t - you just didn’t release the catch latch. It actually opens fairly easily once you figure it out.I love that this is a hard sided case with good padding that can be adjusted for your equipment. While it’s not “light” when empty, it’s not heavy when empty and it feels sturdy and very well made. The handle is comfortable. It looks like if you really need to padlock it, you could use a couple of small padlocks at the corners - There are holes for that.There are cheaper options, but I am quite satisfied with my cases because of the protection and how well they are made.The Good:Very well made, sturdy outer case appears reasonable weathertight, inside padding can be adjusted for your needs.Needs Improvement:Nothing that I can see.

Purchased this case for my DSLR. I put a camera body, 24-120mm zoom lens, 50mm lens, flash unit, and charger in it with room left over. Larger lenses would probably fit if properly arranged.I'm not a fan of the "pick and pluck" foam. But as you can see, it does the job. The latches work smoothly and with little effort to open/close but are completely secure when latched.Over all, a great case for the intended purpose.

I bought this Nanuk 915 waterproof hard case for my Drone and it doesn’t have any water jet cut outs so you have to make your own to fit your drone and it worked out good for me. About this product it’s made very well and waterproof and will protect your valuables from any Damage that’s a big plus for me, I also like the locking system that comes with it and you can add a lock or two for more protection if you want to do that a very nice extra option. I will buy this item again when I need another Hard waterproof Case for my valuables! I am Very Happy with my purchase!

I love this case. I’m pretty snooty about quality and had been looking for a small travel tool case which I could check in at the airport, not have to worry about it breaking apart and my expensive tools being damaged or lost or stolen. This case does all that and more… Every ounce of it screams quality from its general sturdiness (though light) to its latches (streamlined and fast but extra tab ensures not accidental opening) to the hinge (tight, no cheap flex) to the locks (cost extra but well worth it, clearly designed specifically for this case… TSA approved and solid and streamlined).This case is amazing and I would’ve expected to have aid $150 more for it… Incredibly well designed and made for a fantastic price on top of it( you’re crazy if you don’t buy one.

I bought this for a glass nova scope. I wanted a nice protective case for this delicate item. Its holds it very securely. Im never worried about breaking it. The latches are very strong and smooth. I wish they made their locking latches compatible with this case or made ones that are. I bought the lock and the shoulder strap as well. Makes it very easy to bring anywhere I wanna show it off and the lock makes it feel very secure. I also like the professional look of the case and the customizable colors are a very nice. Id love if they made more customizable options on their website such as name plates. Engravings or different equipment for upgraded locks or handles or material.

Got this for my pistols as a range transport. Solid quality even in the hinges, locks are strong, the foam is customizable for multiple guns. I can carry (2) 1911 5" barreled pistols in this and still have room for 8-9 mags. Highly recommended.

Cant beat a Nanuk case, a tad expensive but very good quality cases where you cant go wrong to be honest.

NOTE: This product will be reviewed as received:When I received this Nanuk, I noticed that it was pretty dirty for a "new product." There were a few scratches, a few cuts, two areas that seemed like they received some impact and what looked like 2 burn marks. Usually all Nanuk cases are shipped in their OEM boxes. This one came inside a Amazon box with little protection. So, yes, these cases are designed to take a beating BUT I would expect a "NEW" product not to be already pre-beaten for me... (and I mean "used")Let me state that the case gets 5 stars but the state it arrived as gets 3 stars...Overall, the quality of the case is impressive. The plastic is relatively light weight for something this size and job function. The dual claw latch system works amazingly well and stops the case from opening if dropped, it also keeps the IP 67 waterproof seal. This case also features pre-drilled holes around the inside for mounting panels, monitors, etc. a nice touch if that's your cup of tea ( you can buy lexan and aluminum panels from Nanuk for this case.) This case also features a pressure valve to equalize the internal area with the outside.As for the "Soft Grip Foldable Handle"... I wouldn't really call it "Soft Grip." it does fold and locks into position which is great. According to Nanuk this "Soft Grip" is designed so that you will not be holding on to "cold" plastic all the time... In -40 that is a plus... One key thing, If you are going to lug this around for extended periods of time, I would definitely get the Nanuk Accessory Strap (pretty expensive but it is worth it.)My only beef with Nanuk is the so called "Lifetime warranty" ... it only covers factory defects and it must be proven by their experts, else you will have to pay for everything. That is a big difference compared with other companies like Pelican (If you break it, they'll replace it for life.)

Extremely impressed with the quality of this case. I have worked as a whitewater canoe expedition guide and and canoe expedition coordinator and have used these cases for medical supplies and expensive objects on our trips. The foam in the case is only really necessary if you need to protect something valuable and fragile. It is completely waterproof, extremely durable and has survived multiple trips down whitewater rapids. The latch system is simple and tightens everything down well!They are so bomb-proof that I ordered 6 more yellow cases through our organization, and all have preformed well. I would (and have) recommended this product to friends and associates!

Bought this case for my pistols in hopes that I could fit all 3 in this case. I was pleasantly surprised that it could hold all three pistols, in their trigger locks, and with a few spare magazines pretty snuggly. Glad I bought the bigger 915 size, and not the 910.The case looks great, and the buckles make satisfying clicks when opened and closed.In addition, there are attachment points, to add a sling to the case. I took a sling from an old bag, and it fit great. Great build quality, made in Canada.

This case is simply fantastic. I love the ease of use regarding the latch system. It makes opening and closing the case so much easier.This is definitely at par if not a bit better than Pelican due to the fact that you might not have to lose a fingernail in order to open the case.The construction is solid and the quality ( fit and finish ) is impressive. I actually bought this case because Pelican did not have this particular size.I found Nanuk quite more appealing due to the choices in sizes in that respect.The foam is solid and it is plenty for me to hold my stuff nice and snug.A+++ experience all the way here.
