It works great with a minor modification. I have mine high on the window and it wouldn't stay in the position I needed. The cause was the smooth surface of the ball and grabbing arms of the adjustable mount. I popped mine apart and cut some lines in the mating surfaces with a knife. Sort of like a Cross-hatch drawing. They don;t have to be deep. It now stays locked in place and works great. I also added a larger and thicker piece of steel since I have a heavier double case with complete ABS plastic and Silicone covering. It seems to hold it a little more securely.Very much worth the money. Help me record an Aggravated Assault the other night driving to dinner.

The magnet holds on well through my case. We had to switch to a less heavy case on my wife's phone. (I did use BOTH metal plates on my phone - which gives it just a little more 'grab' through my case. The wife and I both LOVE being able to see our phones without having to hold on to them while driving. If you use your phone as GPS as well - this takes the worry out of always having to look down or have a phone in your hand. The base mounted and HOLDS on to the dash - which is actually a bit curved on my car. You can't beat this thing for the price!! I RECOMMEND! The order arrived as promised!

Love it! Sticks very well WHEREVER I put it. The magnet placed on my phone case is very thin but strong! I have an iPhone 6 Plus (so it isn't a tiny phone). When I place my phone on the dash magnet, IT STAYS. The ability to tilt the mount is also a great feature. This has been a great device since I drive a very small car that doesn't have many options for a place to set my phone when I'm using the GPS feature, or using my phone in a hands-free mode when taking calls. Wish I had found this sooner!

The magnet holds about as well as other similar products I have bought, and the suction cup works fine. The part I think is mediocre is the ball-joint adjustment. It's fiddly, and limited in its range of motion. In this respect, its way inferior to the Scosche brand of magnetic mounts, but are usually 2x-3x the price. The best part about the JETESUN mount is the price.

Overall the car mount is excellent, the only flaw is it does not attach to the dashboard at all. I have new mercedes, and I'm guessing it might work on a dashboard of a Honda that has a smoother, plasticky dashboard, although I haven't tried. Anyways I don't regret the purchase at all.

I received the product as promised, on time, the magnet works really good even with a hard case phone cover, however the bottom part does not want to stick to my dashboard very well!

I had one issue which was easily corrected. My has a heavy leather case and I had to use both metal plates together in order for it to stay on the mount. Everything else was as described.
