The Little Wooden Robot and the Log Princess

This book was a find, it is truly a delight. The illustrations and the story is excellent and even has an adult reading it (although aware it is a fairy tale) rather emotional. Splendid book and a lovely enjoyable read which is worth every penny and make a wonderful Xmas present to a child who loves books.Highly recommended! Well done Tom Gauld.

This is an excellent book that absolutely enchanted my 2-year old granddaughter. The story is engaging and the illustrations are so intricate, drawing the child into the story and provoking her to find the different characters and animals in the illustrations.

I am a huge fan of Tom Gauld's books and couldn't wait to share this with my 2.5-year-old son. He loved it, as he's currently into robots and sticks. A very classic fairy tale feel with some of Gauld's trademark incisive wit and narrative hijinx. Beautiful illustrations and memorable characters. A gorgeous book. Does it belong on my shelf or my son's?

This is a delightful story revolving around a brother and sister.My three year old and five year old really liked it and the illustrations are wonderful.
