NO MORE CARPAL TUNNEL PAIN AND NUMBNESS!! BUT, THE EXTRA BUTTONS ARE TERRIBLE!!!
I had to leave a job after filing a workers compensation claim because of carpal tunnel numbness and pain. After about 20 minutes with a normal mouse my index finger and thumb would start getting pins and needles and go numb. It was terrifying. I went to a doctor who prescribed me steroid pills and I had to work with an ice pack wrapped around my wrist for relief. Other co-workers who had the same problem had to get surgery and then come back to work. My doctor prescribed more breaks from work for me but that was only a Band-Aid for the problem. After a few months and another job using a regular mouse a lot this started to happen again. I searched far and wide for a solution and decided to try this vertical mouse. This mouse stopped all of my discomfort. And the changing swirling lights are super cool looking. There is one thing however that I absolutely hate though. The forward and back buttons which are just above and below your thumb when you hold this mouse. I constantly hit these buttons in my web page goes backwards or forwards and I lose all of my information. Vertical mice with these buttons further apart are more expensive. I may just take a screwdriver and rip them out or super glue them so they don't get pressed. Hope this helps. Good luck.

Really poor horizontal movement
I got one of these as a gift last year and there was almost zero horizontal movement in it. It was not usable. I needed a new mouse and just bought this one without realizing it was the same brand/model. The horizontal movement is REALLY sluggish and not usable for me as I am a gamer and PhotoShopper. Strike 2, and I am done with this one. I just hope I remember the brand so I don't fall for it again.

It's a solid vertical mouse!
I have been using vertical mice for years now. As a software developer, it is important for me to protect my hands from carpal tunnel syndrome. I first started with a cheaper vertical mouse back in 2013 (which I still use at work to this day) and I decided to buy this Delux model because the one I had been using at home died. The moment I took this mouse out of the box I noticed how heavy it is compared to the other ones I use.The grip feels comfortable. It is a non-slip material and the forward and back buttons feel intuitive. To me, clicking the back and forward buttons with my thumb are easier and quicker than with other vertical mice, where both the back and forward buttons are located at the top of your thumb. Finally, there is the DPI button. Unlike the mouse I have at work, which has the DPI button on the top of the "cone", this one has the button on the bottom, just next to the battery compartment. I think that is a good choice that prevents you from accidentally hitting the DPI button, but there are only 3 DPI settings, instead of the 4 DPI settings of other vertical mice. Still, it is good for gaming and for all uses. As a software developer, I recommend this mouse to anyone. The one star is because of the 3 DPI settings, not 4 like the mouse I use at work.

Use it and then decide; It feels natural after continued use
I switched to this mouse after my old Logitech ergo mouse from 2003 finally gave out. The grip and dpi are what lead me to give it a try and see if I liked it. It has been great for me for standard use in various work tools (e.g. MS Office) and for the PC games I do play that require intensive mouse use.I have to admit it does take a bit of time to adjust to the new feeling if you haven't used this type of mouse in the past. However, after continued use it begins to feel natural and I don't even recognize the different hold anymore.Pros: Comfortable to holdInstalls with no issue on Windows 10I'm using it without the drivers recommended by OEM and it works just fineYou can turn off the RGB light if you don't want to see it. The switch is on the bottom of the mouse. The extended rest can also be removed and is optional.Cons: Takes some extended use before it feels natural. (Just like anything else that is new)My middle finger would accidentally right click (M2 button) while I was adjusting to the mouse. This isn't the case anymore.

This mouse feels so much better than any mouse i have ever used! I love this!
Pros: Better than a normal mouse, It makes your hand even more comfortable.Cons: The mouse wheel feels cheapEdit: I been using this for a while and this mouse isn't meant for gaming, You can move it and aim but you can't slowly aim at an enemy, It's hard to control.I think you can get a hang of it when you use this vertical mouse for months to a year and you will get used to it but for now i recommend an ordinary mouse for gaming.
