The color was nice blackish grey. Fit my small grill. Many of the pieces were small and several feel threw the grate . So it became a little sparse.

The description said 3 to 5 inches, but it was more like 2 to 4 inches which is perfect for my gas grill. There is a few lava rock pebbles of the same brand mixed in which are 2 to 3 inches. There's also some old ones in the top right of the picture.

Works great in my gas fire pit. Throws a lot of heat.

Slowly breaking down. Parts are getting smaller and smalle every time grill is heated. Will probably have to replace in the spring. They worked OK.

These are exactly what I wanted. I was a little worried because of the reviews stating the rocks were popping. That is not the case at all. I saw another review that said if they get wet, they could pop. Mine do not pop at all. I think they help put off a "little" more heat, (these kind of firepits really don't put out a lot of heat anyway) but I use mine more for the scenery and the relaxation it gives me on my screened in porch. Great rocks! Would recommend for sure!

Small stones only 1 inch diameter. I used my larger stones on bottom. Grill now burns hotter with gas on low.
