Christmas Sticker Dolly Dressing (Usborne Activities)

We bought this book expecting the usual Usbourne quality. We were VERY dissapointed. It is simply a reprint of the Ballerinas sticker book with slight tweaks to make it Christmas oriented. Kids saw right through this and lost interest quickly. Not recommended if you already own Ballerina Sticker Dolly Dress Up.

I had been looking for this book for quite a while until I found it at the ToyBox. It was supposed to be a birthday gift for a very special little girl who just loves this book collection. I was so excited I finally found it that I immediately bought it, even though the delivery date was scheduled for after her birthday. So I decided to contact the store to see if they could help me out. Paul Pasqua, the owner, promptly replied to my email and kindly shipped the book right away! In 2 days I received it in the mail :) what a wonderful surprise!!! This incredible and outstanding costumer service will make a little girl very happy, and for that I am truly thankful.

I haven't purchased an Osborne Dolly Dressing Sticker Book that was bad. Some are far more difficult for a 5 year old to do by herself, this one had lots of sticker outfits and many winter scenes and my granddaughter and I do them together and she loved this one like many of the others we have gotten.

My daughter was disappointed to find that several of the scenes in this book are duplicates of the ones in the ballet sticker book.

My daughter started working on this as soon as she opened this Christmas gift! She loves these books and was so excited to have a new one!

As per our experience with the Usborne Sticker Books - this one is FANTASTIC!The stickers are heavy weight, and thus less prone to tearing. The pages are also quite heavyweight as well. We haven't done a lot of rearranging, but have had luck repositioning a bit (though I will say that has required my help; not sure if a child could do that on their own or not). I don't know if that repositioning would last long term though - but, because these have SO many more stickers and scenes than other sticker books we've used, it hasn't been an issue. These still hold attention and garner more excitement and care than others.This one has 13 different themed scenes and PLENTY of stickers for each scene. Each have stickers specifically designed to go along with the theme for that scene, and all seem to have enough to pick and choose (rather than sticker 1 goes in spot A, and so on), allowing for some good creative play. Dress the "dollies" (they do not actually remove, but are just in each scene) for parties, the ballet (as performing ballerinas), as fairies, etc. There are 10 total pages of stickers, each designed to 'match' a scene.I will also say, I've found them useful to carry along to restaurants or other places where some entertainment might be needed to keep busy and out of trouble!

We're big Usborne sticker book fans in our house, and this is one of MANY of these books we've bought. My complaint with this one is simply that the stickers didn't stick. Santa brought one for each of my daughters (3 and 5) and when they peeled off the stickers and stuck them onto the book pages, the stickers all curl up at the edges and won't stay put. Not sure if both books just happened to be sitting in Santa's warehouse too long, or if it was just a bad batch (too much eggnog for the elves, perhaps....) but we were disappointed in the Usborne quality this time around.

Another fantastic book by Usborne which delighted my 6 year old. Only giving it 4 stars though as I wish, wish, wish Usborne would make their sticker books with perforated pages so that children could tear the sticker pages out easily. Going backwards and forwards to locate stickers is frustrating. My daughter likes to tear out a whole page of stickers to have next to her while looking at the corresponding page in the book art he same time. A small gripe, but come on Usborne, it's easy to do!!

Bought these as a present for my daughter and also some of her friends. Huge hit, keeps them quiet for hours. Daughter also not afraid to mix & match and create her own outfits rather than just follow the "suggestions" in the book. We have several of these and will definitely be buying more such value for money for such entertainment for small people.

I am nine years old and I loved this! I really liked it because even if you make a mistake it still looks good. It does not matter what type of sticker doll dressing book you have it is still lots of fun and lasts a long time!

Had several of these books and daughter loves them all. Great to do by herself and they even reposition a few times if first try fails. Lovely sticker books.

Bought to keep my 5 year old entertained through various 'meals out' at xmas. She loved it. Stickers are good quality and lots for her to choose from.
