This is the best nectar for hummingbirds. And definitely worth the price! It's not just sugar water; it's electrolytes and nectar. It really helps them, with the added science behind it. And in addition, I can't keep the hummingbirds away. They love this stuff. I have two competing right now for the feeder. I'm thinking of adding another one. Just a note: make sure to use only the smallest amount. Though it will last awhile, it's better to replace it every 2 days or so. And because I refrigerate it as the directions indicate, I put the amount I'm going to fill the feeder with on the counter to get to room temperature. It's not really good for them to eat it when it's so cold.

Homemade sugar water is cheaper, but this is convenient, clean-looking, and in my case the hummingbirds used it. I would recommend it for someone who wants an easy pour-and-fill option, especially for a smaller feeder or balcony setup.
