Very easy to install and provided great protection on my 1290 throughout the WABDR. After having damaged my fork seals on my trip to the arctic circle, I was looking for a little piece of mind. These provided that. Great product.

Removable
I think they're a little on the pricey side but then again so is replacing fork seals. I like that they are easily installed and can be removed for cleaning. They do a good job of protecting the seal.

Works great Wr250r
They fit my Wr250r perfectly. It’s nice to have the Velcro for easy installation and removal for cleaning. No rubbing or issues at all

Shock Sox 6# black
Nice material (nylon, neoprene & velcro). Top velcro piece wraps completely around the fork tube 1 1/2 times(to help keep the sox up). Time will tell if the elastic holds up after taking it off to clean then reinstalling. The bottom 2 velcro pieces seem to cover the bottom tube completely also. I have been told these need to be removed and cleaned basically after every ride so trapped dirt doesn't damage the fork, the dust seal and the oil seal. Overall seems like a good product.

Sizing on smaller forks
I read the reviews prior to purchasing. Someone said that they would fit on 37mm forks. They do fit, but not well at all. I bought a pair for my son's KLX 125. The top strap wraps around the fork several times, and the middle and bottom strap barely connect because the fork is so small. It leaves a small opening where dirt can get in. It would probably work great with larger forks, but I wouldn't recommend these ones for smaller bikes.

Work great. Friend of mine has a super tenere too with 80k miles and shock sox since new..no leaky fork seals. I also have 80k miles on my super T, but have had 3 leaky forks. So i hope now that I’ve installed sox I’ll have no more forking leaks.
