Wikipedia as a Marketing Tool: How to reap the marketing benefits of Wikipedia
H**Y
A useful reference book for understanding the Wikipedia processes/procedures for article creation.
The fact that the author talks about Notability in particular which is why we bought this book in the first place as we noted that this can be a major stumbling block for article acceptance when trying to submit an article for creation to Wikipedia. So all in all this pocket guide is a very useful and an interesting read so in our opinion is certainly worth giving it five stars!

Great book about Wikipedia marketing
Publishing an article on Wikipedia is not as easy as it seems. Uploading an article is easy enough, but why do some articles get pulled and others are allowed to be published? The key is notability. The author describes that concept in detail and what the team of Wikipedia editors are looking for in your article in order for it to be published on Wikipedia. This important chapter is what makes this book easy to recommend. If your subject is not notable, it will get taken down by the Wikipedia editors. There are many examples of notability throughout the book for guidance. Also worth noting are chapters on reputation management and using Wikipedia to leverage your brand. If you are thinking of publishing a Wikipedia article or how to use Wikipedia to enhance your brand, this book is easy to recommend and is a good read.
