I'm that person who read every review before purchasing (Bought M and L!)
(Using my husbands account). I first purchased the Large in this faja for under my wedding dress. When it arrived just 2 days later I thought, there's no way I'm getting that on. I'm 5 foot nothing, 180 pounds (wear a size 12 in pants and L in shirts and sometimes XL in some things because of my chest) but a lot of my weight is in my chest and booty. I wanted this to slim and suck my fluffy stomach in and it sure did. My fiancé had to help me get into it and that experience alone was worth the cash. At first we set the large to the largest hooks. After about 2 minutes it felt as though it had loosened up on me and we tried the middle hooks. I tried it on with my dress and was happy - but I felt like at that point I could go even tighter. We adjusted the hooks to the smallest. It was incredibly easy and comfortable at that point after wearing it for just 10 minutes or so. It gave me an even bigger booty... BBL if you will. But I did notice the Large didn't suck me in as much as I really wanted or thought I could go. More smoothed me out and tucked everything in pretty nicely - but I wanted snatched. So, I ordered the medium that night. When the medium came I had the "oh girl no" moment that another reviewer had. But, after fighting with it to get up over my knees and then my hips, with much help from my fiancé (and many laughs), we got the Faja on. I will say, my booty gets a better lift in the large because the medium legs don't fit me as well so the bottom support doesn't reach up to the bottom of my butt BUT (pun intended) the snatch? Worth it. It definitely brought me down a few sizes in my mid section. My wedding dress went from tight around the belly - flumpy and rolly... to fits perfect and maybe even a little loose in the stomach! Worth the cash people. And honestly, even the medium wasn't uncomfortable. Much tighter and a little more restricting in how limber I can be, but not uncomfortable. (Side note, you don't HAVE to wear the straps. The help, but they aren't needed or at least I don't need them).

I loved it.
The faja is absolutely great. I’ve been trying to find one that’s affordable that doesn’t smash my butt, or make it look like I’ve got a double but cheek, or like I sliced my cheek in half. It tightens everything and the mesh around the butt has nice stretch so my butt looks like a more natural perky bubble butt. this one did the job. I’m usually an extra large. Based off size guide I ordered XXlarge and at its tightest I like how it fits. I have the perfect amount of compression but I do think I’m going to attempt sizing down to work on cinching. I’m 5 foot 7, with 37 inch waist and 45 inch hips. Material feels nice and soft on the skin. I’ve worn a lot of different fajas and this one wears great on the body. The compression is pretty strong and the layer of material sewn on the inside is really soft, which makes it more comfortable. The material is very sturdy. It does not roll down. if you’re someone like me with a long torso this is definitely a good fit. Also, the bottom portion of the Faja lifted my butt pretty well, but my favorite part is the length I can probably get away with wearing a nice short pair of shorts and you won’t see the lining. Someone with a shorter torso might run into the top of the girdle digging under your breast. Hope this helps

Amazing compression garment
Best compression garment I’ve ever bought!!! Had tummy tuck and this has been amazing. So comfortable!! Has a zipper at the crotch and it’s so comfortable! For reference, I am 5’4, 150 and I bought a medium at first, a little too snug so I bought a large and it fits perfectly. Even snug around the back side and makes that look amazing too!

Great product except the zipper
I purchased this shapewear for after my tummy tuck surgery. The doctor provided me with shapewear immediately following the surgery, and I bought this for after I was allowed to switch to any Shapewear I chose for myself. Part of my review is related to my lack of flexibility from surgery, but I’m not sure how different it would be with full range of motion. This shapewear is actually quite comfortable to wear. It doesn’t roll up at all. It has a lot of little hooks, but that’s to be expected. The fabric is what you’d expect—very durable and breathable enough for me (but it’s winter right now, so I don’t know how it will be in the summer). The part I don’t like is the zipper in the crotch. It sounds like a great idea, and it’s really easy to unzip. However, it’s definitely not easy to zip back up. I don’t bend that way. You need to pinch it together with one hand and zip with the other, which doesn’t work when one hand needs to be in the front and the other in the back to reach both sides. I’d rather have it left completely open.Shapewear is meant to be tight, which this definitely is. It provides a ton of support and sucks me right in! But that doesn’t make for easy crotch zipping. As for size, if you are between sizes, I recommend sizing up. I have some size large, but I ordered a medium for this one. It fits great, but that’s because I usually wear a medium and wanted something a little more snug. My other shapewear was getting loose. Again, swelling from surgery made large an appropriate size at first, and now I’m shrinking back down to my regular size.
