We tried one of these prior to our purchase, and the experience has been good enough to pick up another one. These are artificial looking, but have stood up to steady use for months now, and are still rolling.The biggest selling point is that they can go in to the dishwasher.I think that's important enough to repeat.These can go in the dishwasher.I do like the look and feel of wooden cutting boards. The main downfall of them, though, is that they get left in the sink, get wet, dry out, and eventually start to delaminate, making them less useful. The epicurean boards don't, because they are not laminated that way. Ours have still been left in the sink a little too long, from time to time, and they come out fine. So far, so good.The only downside is that I ordered a size that is sometimes a little too small, but that's not a fault of the product.

What's not to like? Slim design, easy on knifes, DISHWASHER SAFE! Can I say it again... Dishwasher safe! Love that! Get this, you won't be disappointed. Had no issues with a smell as others have said, and yes it will get light cut marks but it's not a big deal... I don't know why/how some people cut so darn hard to make huge gouges in the board? Don't be violent with it, and it will last a LONG time, and so will your knives.
