M-Audio M-Track Solo. Great little Audio Interface.
Quite simply, this audio interface works well and it's a great price too.Easy to set-up in Windows 11 and I had it working in minutes once I had installed the latest driver from the M-Audio website. This comes with a proper installer. No other drivers are required and an instruction booklet is included with the device. Also works a treat with Ableton Live. With the solo I can record input from a mic, keyboard or electric guitar. The latency is significantly reduced from the awful standard Windows audio driver.Once set up I have just left it connected to a USB port as it replaces the standard headphone/audio out socket for playing music from my laptop.I would recommend this device to anyone who is looking for a good value Audio Interface for recording on a standard Windows laptop.

Perfect for GarageBand on my iMac
Cheap and cheerful but surprisingly good features. Perfect for connecting a guitar and/or mic to you a computer to record from. Works seamlessly with my iMac and GarageBand without the need for drivers! Small and lightweight so easy to pack and carry with you. Very handy bit of kit.

Great value, good sound
Some background hum/hiss on guitar inputs, but for the price, amazing!

Great bit of kit worth more than what you're paying for sure
People cry over this but it's actually really good. No it's not like the expensive alternatives... Obviously... But for what you're paying it's 100% recordable and produced suitable demos.I recorded a demo on this recently and it turned out great for just a demo. Did the job nicely. Easy to use. Light weight, sml, portable, nice design.Sound quality with my e906, a fender Amp and a fender jazzmaster vintera 62 and some reverb, distortion, flange, chorus and delay sounded awesome.People gna cry because it isn't a focusrite, nor is it £200 like a focusrite... What do you expect lol... Honestly, if you're just doing demo work, ideas, starting out at recording etc. It's totally usable.I'd you're beyond that and wanting to lay proper tracks down to release to spotify, focusrite is recommended obviously. But ignore the haters if this is your budget you won't be disappointed I wasn't and I have the budget for the focusrite, which i do own, but I had to lay a track down quick in the usa and so used this at $40 and was perfect for what I needed it for.

Problem solver out of the box
Very reliable and worked out of the box. Multi configurations USB, line jack, different ports. Works great and solved a big issue in recording setup I used to have. Dosn't even need any software or codec.

Intermittent microphone pick up
Sometimes it would work and other times it wouldn't detect an input from my microphone, I bought a new interface from native instruments and haven't had a problem, before that the audio quality was good though

M-Track Solo Complete Review
The M-Track Solo is a great Audio Interface for people looking to record audio on a budget. For the price this is very impressive. For the price, the M-Track Solo (and duo) are reasonable quality. The product is made entirely of plastic except for the knobs which are rubber. Despite this, the M-Track range still feels good quality. The M-Track solo has the following features• Phantom Power (48v for recording with condenser mics)• Combo Jack (Input 1) that accepts both XLR and TRS/TS Inputs• TRS/TS Jack (Input 2)• Analogue RCA output.• Input Level Control for both Input 1 and 2• Output Level Control• Output USB/Direct Switch• 3.5mm Headphone JackIn the box it includes the Audio Interface, Information/Instructions, and the USB cable to connect to your PC or Laptop.Overall the M-Track solo is a good competitor to other Interfaces in this price range, if not the best. However if you have the money, it’s definitely worth looking at options that are a bit more expensive such as the Scarlett Solo.If you have any questions about this product feel free to email me at [email protected]

Great interface
Fantastic bit of kit, I’m using it with cakewalk and band lab. No issues. Works equally as well with microphone, keyboard, guitar and I can even push my second computers audio through it . Great support website with tons of software to complement the device.
