Best product used for keeping drain line flowing
I tried keeping my drain line flowing with baking soda and vinegar, as all research online points you towards. That might work fine for most places, but in Florida... you need to bring out the big guns. There is SO much humidity here, and summer is a non-stop moisture train wrecking havoc on your drain line. So much bacterial junk forms during these months. You need something to keep it all at bay.I first tried AC drain tablets (also from Rectorseal) but they were too difficult to apply. Instructions said I needed to put them straight in the drain pan, which is really hard for me to access as I have to pull apart so much to get into it. In the end, the tablets didn't work for me, and my AC drain line got backed up once again during the summer months. Finally, I found this product. The liquid form is so easy to apply either inside into the pan / access pipe or outside at the drain pipe release. The drain line still collects a ton of water, which I still wet vac up once a month during summer as preventative maintenance. But what I do notice is that the water does not have any weird, moldy buildup that used to be in the drain. It is much more liquidy, if not a little sudsy like you just cleaned it out. This tells me that the product is working at preventing bacterial growth. But of course you will still be collecting a lot of water in the system - that's just physics, and it's what the AC system is designed to do in terms of removing moisture from the air.TL;DR - This product works and is easy to apply. It might not be necessary in all environments, but if you live in a high humidity region, I highly recommend the product to keep your drain line flowing.

Easy to use.
Will take some time to see if it works as described. Easy to use, just pour it in. I used it AFTER rinsing out my drain line with Hot Water and then some Vinegar. This may be overkill, but it is worth it to have my AC working in the Florida heat.
