Timberland PRO Men's Hyperion Waterproof Work Boot

Going to work for the Railroad in the Pacific NW. I did a lot of research on boots, waterproof/safety toe in particular and decided to buy these to get started. These arrived today and sooner than the expected arrival date so that is a good thing. They are good looking boots and instantly felt good on my feet however I don't believe they are a true ''safety toe'' boot as there is no material around the toe area at all, just hard rubber. I purchased the 12 Wide and there's a little room around the toe area but nothing I wont fix with a pair of wool socks.I truely thought they would be safety toe boots but they will do. Especially for training.

These boots are rugged and stylish! I work as a home/septic inspector and we also do foundation repair in Maine. These boots are rugged enough to handle the harsh conditions while keeping my feet safe, comfy and dry. They do fit kinda big, I ordered a wide as I do with most footwear and they feel a bit wider than normal but still ok. Great product!

Real nice. Very comfortable. Insulated like crazy. Waterproof. Nice with no steel toe. Like em lot. Ive been wearing Nike ACG since 2011. Mainly, for 9mo of the year. They would last 3y at a time. This is by first trip back to TL since 90s. I wish I remembered that TL was 1/2 size different than Nike on me. I now have a slightly big pair of boots which is good for heavier socks, but it's the slide I want to avoid. So I bought inserts that I know usually tighten up the space inside is my boots. They're pretty high on your leg, and very supportive of your ankle. Come with two pair of laces, orange and black. I'm in the process of breaking them in now, and I'll say they are extremely comfortable. I opted out of steel toe because I don't like the way they feel, and mainly because I don't need it anyway. The soles are Vibram, so IMO these soles are high quality. Overall, good for average hikers, warehouse workers, mainly indoor semi clean environment. They're felt big and bulky at first but I've gotten used to them. If you're going to be out in really wet environment, I would spray them with a decent waterproof to be more than safe, but they've held up well in snow. I don't think I would want to wear these in warm weather, which is when I bought them. Very warm, and not lose at all, so they hold on the heat. The laces go to the very top of the boots if you wish to lace them properly. The top two are speed lace hooks instead of eyelits.I like them. They look far better in good condition and hold up better if course without getting a beatdown. I think having another pair of boots is good anyway, but should be the case to alternate when you feel it's necessary or just want to.

Great boots. Instantly comfortable to wear all day every day.The only reason I am dropping a star is because they start waterproof but it doesn't last more than a month or two of washing them off.They should include whatever they use to waterproof them in the box to keep up the protection.

My first pair of Timberland boots is initially very impressive. I might write a long-term review later but first impressions are that the boots are well-thought out with lots of good features. Material quality seems very high. Fit and construction seem very good.I consider myself very very hard on footwear and was looking for a heavy-duty workboot with a shank and footplate to prevent nail punctures during carpentry, or protect against cactus and sharp rocks when hiking in west Texas. Where Timberland convinced me to to try their product is that this boot is also rated as a hiker, with climbing rubber on the toes, and an athletic last. So if Timberland can make a comfortable, high-speed hiking and adventure boot, tough enough to stand up to concrete/carpentry/welding work etc, then its a winner.Sizing is very good for my needs. As a runner, my feet are narrow and most workboots are too large in the arch and too narrow in the toebox, especially if they are safety-toes. Since the material quality is so high on these it will take some time to break them in but first impression is that they will remain comfortable for a long time. If my feet were bigger(fatter) there would be plenty of room. If they were skinnier adding an extra insole would keep the fit perfect.These are NOT steel-toe or safety-toe. They do however have 3 layers of material on the toe-caps. The feel is that the toes are well protected without the pinching of steel-toes.Final first impression- the picture shows the boots with red laces; Timberland also includes black laces. I've never bought a pair of shoes that came with spare laces. Simple details like that impress me so I would recommend Timberland in your search.One more suggestion- Timberland should sell these, and other similar boots, in more athletic and outdoor stores. This appears to be a very good product with a perfect price. The value is definitely there and is an opportunity to compete with Wolverine and other work-hikers.

No llegaron en caja original, llegan en caja reciclada, y de las ahujetas extra, solo llego una, la suela no es antiderrapante, en piso pulido mojado se resbalan; el cuero gris se empoeza a despintar, pues se en ciertas secciones se empieza a tornar de color negro. son muy comodas, para trabajo de pie me han sido de gran ayuda.
