L.R. Baggs SESSION-DI Acoustic Preamp

Ich wunderte mich schon, dass dieser (m.E. grundsätzlich eigentlich überteuerte) LRBaggs Session DI unter dem aktuellen marktüblichen Preis bei Amazon angeboten wurde.Ich teste generell immer wieder neue Produkte im Bereich von Akustikgitarren-Equipment. Nun wollte ich mal dieses Gerät testen, ggf. meine Equipment damit erweitern. Gerne natürlich auch zu diesem günstigeren Preis.Das Amazon-Paket kam unglaublich schnell an.Schon beim Auspacken wunderte ich mich, dass die Umverpackung des Session-DI sehr abgenutzt, sonnengebleicht aussieht. Als Nächstes stellte ich sofort fest, das diese Verpackung schon einmal geöffnet war, des weiteren das im Gerät eine auslaufgefährdete, ungeschützte 9V-Blockbatterie lag.Ebenso war sofort ersichtlich, dass direkt neben dem Fußschalter, auf dem hochwertigen Metallgehäuse, ein Kratzer ist, den man nicht eben so mal fabrizieren kann. Bei weiterer Durchsicht fiel auf, das von den vier Positionen des seitlich angebrachten Schiebereglers (hpf 40, 80,120, 200) nur drei Positionen funktionieren.Ich habe dann gleich Kontakt zum Amazon-Kundendienst aufgenommen, vereinbart das dieses Gerät zurück geht.Schade das ich nun nicht testen kann, schade um diese unnötige Aktion.

This is a great pedal and DI and you will most likely love it. Here’s why I returned it:………1. The Session DI will be useful if you have a bad sounding acoustic pickup. It definitely makes the sound smoother and richer. For my great sounding Taylor system, the improvement was minor and not worth the price.……2. You can't use the DI portion of the Session with a reverb pedal. This is not the fault of LR Baggs, but being a DI, it is obviously the last pedal in the chain. I regularly play acoustic with a Big Sky reverb pedal and do not want the coloration from the Session on the reverb. Therefore, there was no way to use the Big Sky and still use the DI function of the Session together. It's not a defect, it's just the nature of the unit.
