Nice enough pedals
Good enough if you are coming from basic OEM pedals. Found them to have less grip and surface area than my old Stamp 1’s however.

Pedali Chester della misura perfetta ne troppo grossi ne troppo piccoli di ottima fattura e di qualità e anche molto belli e leggeri. Ottimo Grip e buona qualità prezzo

Light grippy pedal. And it matches the colour scheme on the Whyte 801. What’s not to like.

I LOVE these Chesters! I wanted a budget, sleek, stylish, high-quality MTB pedals for awhile. I did my research and landed on the Chesters. These things have been around for awhile and have a good reputation. They are very attractive and offer good longevity for the price, which makes this purchase a high-value one. I put these on my Marlin 5 because I didn't like the factory pedals whose nubs are plastic and molded into the pedal. The chester's have steel bolts that pass through the pedal and offer a super secure grip on my skateboard shoes. I don't wear special shopes for MTB'ing, nor am I going to buy some. So these pedals fit the bill. They grip super tight on my slick skateboard shoes and I feel very secure on them. I love the matte black color too. What's cool is that you can buy these in a bunch of different colors. they aren't painted, so the color will not wear off if you scuff the pedals on curbs. I've had them for over a year now and they've been 100% reliable on both dirt, street and mud. Very happy with my purchase. Only caveat: they do not freely rotate as well as other pedals do. The more expensive pedals will freely rotate and spin for days. These will give you about 1.5-2 rotations before the friction halts their spin. Listen...this is not a problem on MTB or regular street bikes. Your not gonna notice it and it's not dangerous. This would only effect efficiency on long-distance road biking, and if your doing that, you would never buy a Chester anyway, so it's a moot point. These are the cheapest and highest quality pedals your gonna find. Cheaper than this, your buying garbage quality... more expensive than this, and your wasting your money.

For $40 I figured "What the hell?" My bike came with a pair of beat up Shimano Saint mallets that were seriously thick/clunky and I wanted to replace them. I was hesitant about plastic/polymer pedals, but for the price and the color choices... why not? I have spent $40 on worse. I have ridden the more expensive "Aeffect" Pedals from Race Face and fell in love with them. Great grip, thin, sturdy. I have to admit that these are just as sure footed and sturdy feeling with less of a weight penalty. (I'm no weight weenie, I feel that my am poop will shed more weight then $500 of over hyped parts) Long story short. Great pedals. very smooth operation and tons of grip out of the 8 pins. I'll beat them up and report back on the durability
