BOJACK Ceramic Cement Resistor 10W 10 ohm Resistance 5% Ceramic Wire Wound Resistors（Pack of 5）

I used these 1 ohm resistors when disconnecting the battery cables to drain residual electricity from all the computer modules. Also, once disconnecting the battery cables, turn the head light switch to the “on position” to drain the electricity. Need to allow a minimum of 8 hours to erase the codes.Get a nice set of small “alligator clips” (red and black). Connect one end of the black cable to the negative battery cable and the other end to one end of the resister (connect to the resister wire). Do the same with the red alligator clip and the red positive battery cable and connect to the other “wire” from the resister.Be sure to put a thick towel or wrap over the top of the battery as precaution to prevent the cables from making contact with the battery terminals.After at least 8 has elapsed, BE SURE to to turn the head light switch to the “OFF POSITION” so that when reconnecting the battery cables (positive first) there is no sudden high voltage spike!!

Bought these to clear all sensors/codes in-vehicle computer. I did find all codes deleted after 15 hours. Two of the three codes on the dash are gone. Three code is a reprogram issue. The dealer wants $1000.00 to reprogram the code. No thanks.

The will work for what I need them for.I ohm them and they were very close to the rating.
