The lock is what I expected, However, I ordered two of them so they could be keyed alike as advertised. How that is going to work now I don't know! I will have to hold my project up until the 2nd lock is received and probably wind up returning them if they aren't keyed alike. Not what i expected!!!!

schlage makes the best residential locks imo.they cost a little more, but you can feel the quality difference, which is something I value and appreciate.needed a double cylinder deadbolt and this one was cheaper than the retail stores.

Heavy duty construction and was easy to install
Heavy duty construction and was easy to install. I did not use the striker as I felt it was not strong enough. I got a larger striker made of heavy duty metal and not able to bend by hand as the one that came with the unit. Also used 5" harden screws securing the striker to door frame studs. Smooth operation.
