Q: Can you use this pan in steamer ?

Sure ..although not sure why you would. But most baking pans are good in a bain Marie a steamer would pretty much be the same.

Q: How many boxes of cake mix do you use for each pan?

I believe that most cake mixes make two layers. This pan is to be used for one layer.

Q: At what temperature does it melt?

I dont know i dont useit as yet because it did not come in time when i needed it
