Marvelous Me: Inside and Out (All About Me)

Good book!

When I bought this book, I did not realize that there would be a section addressing twins. This book helps children appreciate their indivdual selves even with siblings. My children are not twins but they are close in age (2 and 3) and are often mistaken for twins. This book teachs self-esteem and responsibility. Great book.

This is a tail with several superb layers. It’s about a little boy named Alex who imagines all of the things about himself that he is proud of. His imagination is boundless. There are some surprises in the story. However, I won’t be dropping any “Spoilers.” My son enjoyed the main character’s energy throughout the story. He seemed to relate to Alex. My 2 year old son loves this book. He surprisingly sits through the entire reading fully engaged. This book teaches a child to love himself completely, appreciating his image, his creative imagination as well has his uniqueness.

My 4 year old rocks with this book. Love little black boys being able to see representation of themselves in a book. And he has a brother so that was dope. He related to that part even tho they ain’t twins.

Bought this book for my son, who was having some self esteem issues at school. He is the only boy of color in his classroom and I felt that he needed to see images of himself or similar, in a book that talked about being yourself and loving who you are.Very cute book. He likes to be read to, but he reads it himself all the time too.I think it did the trick, especially since the character in the book talks about superheros and my kids are superhero crazy!!

I purchased this for my friend's son because she was struggling to find books with black characters. I bough this book and five others along with James Baldwin's, Fire Next Time and sent them all in a package with a letter for her son to open when he turns 13. Each year, I'll be purchasing a plethora of books with characters that look like him that also teach him his heritage and this book was included in the first package I sent him, which was a huge hit! I'm so excited to find more books like this to send to my friend's precious son! So grateful to have found this!

This book is so adorable . I’m a kindergarten teacher and purchased it for our all about me theme . I have two sets of twins in my class and to our surprise the story is about twins . The twins were so delighted that I reordered two more books just foe them as a gift .

We love it, it allows your child to write his /her own story about being marvelous.if they not writing yet it’s fun to talk about. A great addition to any book collection

Alex ist „Marvelous Me“ ein Superheld. Sein Inneres unterscheidet ihn von seinem Zwillingsbruder Andy, der auch „Marvelous Me“ ist, genau wie die Kinder, die dieses Buch lesen.

Great book for my 3yr old son. He enjoys reading this book alot.

My son has asked for this book every night since I bought it. It's so nice to have a book with black characters that isn't about "being black".
