This is our 2nd North States bird feeder. They are not necessarily my taste, but the birds love them. We have the blue and the red houses and they both stay very active. The feed is loaded through the chimney, which easily slides off and on, but securely stays on otherwise. They are well built and sturdy. Our have fed birds, chipmunks, and squirrels for years with no problem.

I bought this Birdhouse in December. In April the hanger that came with it broke causing the bird feeder to fall about 10 ft. The base cracked/broke. The manufacturer advertises a 3-year warranty but refuses to replace the feeder saying breakage due to falling is not covered. If the products hanger had not broke, it would not have fallen!

Beautiful Bird feeder!
I just love this feeder and so do the birds...I had another style out there and they weren't coming like they are to this feeder..It's well made and the birds can get the seed easily! My only complaint is make sure and get a funnel to pour the seed the opening to the top to fill it is small.

Fade Resistant
I have the house bird feeder from this same company and I have had it outside for two years. It's still the same colors with no fading. So I had to buy the school house too. It's easy to load the bird food with a funnel in the top and I clean with just water and a brush.

Love this Cute Birdhouse
Love this little bird house. This is a replacement for one just like it that I have had for many years. It is beautiful. It is bright and colorful, very sturdy and a great addition to my backyard. Would definitely buy again.

Great for variety of birds!
This is an easy to load bird feeder. I put it by our living room window, we have seen so many different birds!! Our cats have constant entertainment! It is definitely NOT squirrel proof!! The squirrels also LOVE this feeder.

Feeding a lot of birds even in rain and snow. Well made. Sturdy. Hold 5# of seed
These feeders are well made, sturdy. During winter I fed lots of hungry birds during rain and snowy weather. The doves and sparrows and cardinals and blackbirds say “Thank you!”

Cute but sadly overpriced
Well i must say i was disappointed when i opened the box to see this feeder just sitting there unwrapped. It came in rough shape so quality control must have been on holidays. The plastic corners are pulling away from the structure as are both doors.I cant get imagine what the sun will do. The white plastic looks dirty not very bright, around the windows it is very evident, see photo. The tower with all the glass windows well they are scratched all up. Very messy. This quality is reminiscent of a $25 feeder. Not anymore than that. Will update as the Sun does its magic :)

Hit or miss
We own several North States birdfeeders. While they look awesome, the plastic tabs that keep the body and the bottom together easily break during shipping. Hit or miss situation. Ours arrived with two out of four tabs missing. Found them in the box. It was intended to be a holiday gift and I am working hard now trying to glue the broken tabs to the base...

Awesome!!
I love this birdfeeder!! I actually decided to sit it on the corner railing of my step (I have it wired down of course so it doesn't blow or fall off) and the birds, squirrels and chipmunks all enjoy feasting from it! Having it on the step makes it easy to fill in the winter when I can't be climbing ladders to fill the feeders in the trees and yet the birds and whatnot still get some help with food in the cold Atlantic winter! It has withstood the winter and is still in perfect shape and even the top stayed on in gale force winds plus I just love the look of it so I would highly recommend it!!!

Dispense Enough?
I just mount this feed a few weeks back. I purchased awhile ago for use as my main yard feeder.I am finding that using a All Birdie seed with a mixed of small seeds and sunflowers it seems tobind up slightly when the sunflower seeds are trying to come through the bottom slot. I do have go out a periodically use something to fish out the sunflower seeds so it can distribute all the seed properly. In conclusion this unit looks appealing and is wonderful for small seeds but I am now on a search for a different main feeder that will distribute the All Bird seed properly. No lost as I will hang this one in a tree.

Feed your wild birds in style
The North State series of bird feeders like this lighthouse are well made. They are easy to fill and easy to clean. We feed birds year round, so our feeders must survive the full extent of the thermometer from +40 C to -40 C, and these feeders, which include a log cabin, a schoolhouse, a cottage, etc., stand up to the prairie weather.
