The Control Freak Remote Control Watch offers you the ability to operate many of the most common entertainment devices right from your wrist, along with telling the time! The industrial design showcases a silver-tone case with a tachymeter, which allows you to measure distance based on speed, bordering the silver-tone bezel. Three buttons on each side put the time and various functions at your fingertip with a mineral crystal guarding the LCD digital display of time, date, month, year, and more. As a remote, it duplicates the infra-red frequencies of over 211 brands of devices and transmits up to 30 feet, letting you see the time and giving you media control all at once.

The watch came without instructions and it seems impossible to find any online. There's no way I can comment on how it works when there's no current way for me to operate it. Also, it came with a dead battery and removing the back was impossible for me. I had to take it to a watch repair shop to get the back off and even they had issues.

In case someone out there is looking for a manual...
I've had this watch for a long time, I really doubt many of these are out there but if anyone is looking for a manual like the other reviewer then I still got the original that I will attach to this review. TV codes aren't very readable in the scan but they don't tend to work on modern boxes anyways... trial and error and hope one of the codes work.As for the battery (CR2032 by the way), doesn't last very long but when you need to replace it there is a small notch at the bottom left of the back plate, you're not gonna get it open anywhere else. Pry up at that point with a flathead screwdriver, going to get a few small scratches but its unavoidable here. After this you need to remove two small screws holding the old battery in (do not remove the sticker its part of the metal piece you have to remove not attached to the battery itself) then swap it out and screw the piece back in with the new battery in place.Interesting gimmick, alright but not great as a watch due to battery life.
