Since more and more additives are being added to chicken feeds lately, Mille Four to the rescue! Smells wonderful and is of excellent quality. My chickens even started laying eggs this week which were indeed beautiful with nice thick shells - this is not possible with some feeds because the additives prevent chickens from laying eggs!

I use this as a treat because it costs so much, but the chimkies love it and it helps balance out their diet a bit still :)

I had high hopes for this feed for my chickens and planned to feed it to them soaked/fermented to get the most out of it. My chickens do seem to like it however, they don’t eat any of the yellow lentils and unfortunately this food appears to be nearly 50% lentils. If your chickens like eating lentils they will love this. First pic is what the food looks like after 2 day ferment before I’ve given it to the chickens, second photo is what’s left over after they’ve eaten everything they want out of it.

Great quality and my chickens love it. And I feel good giving it to them. They’re beautiful hens on it. I supplement with kitchen scraps, meat, and calcium.

I wish this could be fed to my girls dry but the food comes so hard, it must be soaked for my girls to eat it. Otherwise, they love it.

I recently got chickens so that my family and I could have fresh eggs of our own, but it was very important to me to find a good quality feed. It turns out that even the popular organic non gmo chicken feed have corn and soy in them, so I searched for a better feed and finally found Mile Four. We just started using this feed, but knowing that the ingredients are high quality and free of corn and soy, I am positive we will soon see a difference in our chickens, as well as the eggs when those come. It gives me peace of mind to know we’re feeding the best to our chickens.

I will say that it is a very small bag and won't last long but my girls did love it. Also, one of my girls had stopped laying eggs a few weeks ago as it is winter time and she started laying eggs again after I started feeding her this food. Not sure if that's the reason why. I will definitely purchase again
