I've been using mine too polish the frets on the Guitars I build. This Rouge is Firm enough to hold it's form and soft enough to be easy to use. My order arrived sealed in clear plastic, wrapped in bubble wrap and inside a sturdy, reusable cardboard box. Which keeps my bar of Rouge nice and clean and in one piece until I need it. Which is much better than being a bunch of broken pieces. I also received a small chart that lists the types of grinding compounds available and the surfaces they are used to polish.
